"That's alright, it looks like there's a new act today." Steady glanced over at two ponies with a small soundboard and violin.

 

"One of them looks familiar..." Steady shrugged it off for now and sat down next to Red.

 

"Oh and I'll just have some iced tea for now."

(Plot Point! )

 

"Okay then," Red said. He walked to the bar and ordered two iced teas. He walked back to his seat and gave one of the iced teas to Steady.

"Thank you." Steady smiled at Red and turned her attention to the stage when the duo began performing.

 

 

"They're really talented."

"I agree," Red said tapping his foot to the rhythm. It's not the kind of song he's used to being played on violin, but he's willing to forgive that for the fact that it's very well done and entertaining.

Steady began to look around as the next song played.

(She's hanging out with Dancer.)

 

Red noticed Steady looking around. "Are you alright?" he asked.

"Nothin-" Steady was interrupted when a certain pony tapped her shoulder. She also noticed The music had stopped.

 

"Hey there Steady what's up?"

Red turned around to see somepony he has not seen before.

[Twinight125 45]

"Oh hey Bass! I thought I recognized that pony on stage! Red this is Bass Drop." The mentioned pony smiled and offered his hoof to shake.

 

"Nice to meet you. I take it youre a friend of Steady's?

[IvoryVinyl 48]

"That is correct," Red replied, "It's nice to meet you too."

"Bass was an inmate who helped Nel save my father."

 

"Now I do t know if 'help' is the right word but I was there." Bass chuckled and scratched his head.

Red nodded. "Okay. Well, I'm glad to see him out, so thank you for what you did."

[Twinight125 45]

"No problem, where is Nel anyways?"

 

"um, Im not sure, I havent seen him today."

 

"Oh, I think he wanted to see you later today though."

 

"Ok, I'll try to find him later."

 

"So what are you two up to anyways?"

[IvoryVinyl 48]

"Nothing really," Red answered, "Just sitting back and listening to music."

[Twinight125 45]

"Speaking of which I was wondering if I could steal Steady away for a song?" Steady gave Red a puppy dog face when she heard.

[IvoryVinyl 48]

"I guess so," Red answered, obviously pretending to be reluctant, "Go ahead and go up there."

[Twinight125 45]

"Thanks Red!" Steady hopped out of her seat and trotted towards the stage while giggling like a schoolfilly.

 

Bass followed and whistled at the other pony to start once they were onstage

Red leaned back, watching the two preform. He took a sip of his tea. He's not sure what's going through Steady's mind, about him, Nel, or anything even, but he hopes it all turns out okay.

As Steady performed thoughts raced through her head. She wondered if she was putting off her decision for too long. She wanted toned this all but... There was still the worry of what would happen after her choice. The idea of their relationship or even friendships ending stung at her heart.

 

As the song ended a tear trickled down her cheek.

 

"Are you alright Steady?" Bass asked after setting his instrument down.

 

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for letting me perform."

 

"No problem, I'll be down in a little while."

 

Steady walked back to Red and sat down. However she just noticed her tear was still there.

Red looked at Steady, noticing the tear on her face. "Are you sure you're okay?" he asked, wiping the tear away.

[Twinight125 45]

"Yeah, I was just thinking when I was on stage..."

[IvoryVinyl 48]

"What were you thinking about?" Red asked.

[Twinight125 45]

"...about our situation... I'm feeling horrible for treating you like this."

Red sighed. "It's okay," he said, "It will all be okay."

[Twinight125 45]

"But how is it-" Steady was interrupted by a loud crash.
