GXPBlast 597 May 3, 2016 Author Share May 3, 2016 (edited) Update, based on what I have seen via updates, although they are trying to be positive, Joey is going through not only chemo but the worst of them all, radiation. This is how I look at it based on what I know. If somebody is diagnosed with cancer really early all that is needed is the tumor is removed, and if there is no spread, no chemo or radiation is necessary. If there are circulating tumor cells floating throughout the body after the tumor removal, chemo is needed to destroy those free radicals. Now the worse case scenario is if the tumor cells are not only spreading throughout the body but have a high risk of forming more tumors, in that case the hard core and most dangerous treatment used is radiation. Radiation, chemo and tumor removal is what Joey is dealing with and although in his first update video he said he "beat" cancer, it turns out it was worse than we all thought. It was so bad, that it seems like the tumor cells are spreading enough to warrant not only chemo but radiation which is the worse of them all. I am sure Joey will eventually beat the cancer but it may takes months of rigorous therapy, in the end, I fear he is going to have major health problems due to treatment, such as heart and digestive issues from the chemo alone. Also worse of them all the amount of radiation used to kill cancer, puts even more stress on the body, and the big risk, is that much radiation, used to kill the cancer will increase the risk of even more cancer developing in the future. An update on their Facebook says its may take months of treatment, and I fear Joey will not come out the same, and risks major health problems in the future. This is why I think modern cancer treatment sucks. Immunothrapy and other future treatments need to come now, this old way of treatment sucks and is killing people by itself. Hoping that large donation from the Parker foundation works. Also, more millionaires and billionaires need to donate lots of money now, because the damn government has not been doing crap and at this point the private sector needs to contribute big time and the FDA needs to get out of the way so experimental and future treatments can come out much sooner. On-Locoweed 108 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 Joey is one of the most genuine people I've ever met, my heart goes out to him. He's such a sincere individual. Having watched multiple family members go through the same stuff I feel a similar sensation of reeling and shock.

Having watched multiple family members go through the same stuff I feel a similar sensation of reeling and shock. Yeah it sucks bad, most people I know who got cancer over the age of 50 and most of those people had done things in their lives to cause cancer, such as smoking, poor diet, and drinking heavily. But joey is one of the very rare ones which has me scare for not only him but myself and others who are rather young. If you don't mind me asking, the people you know who have dealt with this were they young, mid aged, old? What scares me even when mid aged people get it, is when nothing was done to cause they cancer, especially if they don't smoke and eat well. Scares me every day thinking that will happen to me before the proper treatments besides this chemo poison and organ killing radiation are available. The people I've lost to cancer/cancer treatment complications were old and the cancer was largely brought on by lifestyle choices (decades of smoking and consuming processed, carcinogenic foodstuffs). Seeing people die in front of me like that and everybody else complacent about it made me really depressed and I became a health nut/hypochondriac for a long time. Seeing people die in front of me like that and everybody else complacent about it made me really depressed and I became a health nut/hypochondriac for a long time. I am totally I hypochondriac as well, although I am healthy now I want to keep myself extremely healthy so that if something does happen down the road the technology will be so advanced that cancer or any deadly disease today will be as easy a going to the doctor getting a prescription and being done with it, or better yet, go to the pharmacy, and pop a cure as simple as taking an advil or other over the counter drug. Kind of like this. Maybe it wont be that easy lol, but you get the point. Instead of going through rigorous treatment or risk succumbing to illness, a cure is as easy as going to the doctor taking a pill or something similar and being cured. GXPBlast 597 May 25, 2016 Author Share May 25, 2016 (edited) UPDATE: Joey made a live stream video discussing his situation. As I expected the worst has come to fruition. Although he is trying to be positive about it, The cancer has spread. In the beginning he said that they removed the tumor and he "beat" cancer but based on what I know about cancer, when he said he would be going through chemo I knew it was worse than he made it out to be. Based on the update video he said the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes and his lungs. When cancer spreads to the lungs its very fatal in many cases. He is been going through chemo and radiation and has two more rounds of chemo treatments. He says he will be fine and its curable cancer, but honestly when he said it spread to his lungs I got very sad. I know he is trying to be very optimistic about being cured, but I am very fearful that he will end up in a terminal phase. I really do hope for the best, but when cancer spreads no matter how young you are, the prognosis is not too good, and chemo and radiation just makes it worse. This is why I say the FDA needs to get the fuck out of the way for the experimental treatments, cancer treatment funding needs to be put into overdrive, and a real cure needs to come out soon, because people young and old are dying and chemo and radiation just seems to make it worse even for those that survive. People say cancer is rare in young people and in general to those who avoid poor lifestyle choices, but to those who are in the few less than 1% that get cancer, the word "rare" does not mean shit, we have been fighting cancer for over 40 years and although these is some advancements in treatments, its basically been the same in terms of radiation and chemo, nothing has really changed and breakthrough treatments currently are being delayed to to greedy drug companies and overly regulated FDA for things like immuno therapy which basically makes the immune system to attack the cancer. GXPBlast 597 June 5, 2016 Author Share June 5, 2016 (edited) Well as I originally expected unconditionally the cancer is spreading so bad that it has gone to his liver, brain, lungs, and stomach lymph nodes. The day he was diagnosed I knew it was not a simple as removing the tumor. The amount of chemo he has been through has wrecked havoc on his body, he has lost some of his mobility and almost lost his kidneys. He made recent video update with a go fund me page to help with his medical costs. He has more stages of chemotherapy left but by the looks of it is making his worse and destroying his body, and it looks like the cancer is spreading and the treatments are not doing much. I am afraid Joey may come out of this either permanently damaged or by the looks of it sadly end up dead soon. The cancer has spread to many organs and the chemo is wrecking havoc on his body and immune system. I am tempted to unsubscribe not because dont want to support Joey or like his content but these videos are making me depressed, scared, and more into a hypochondriac. Plus it makes me scared for my family and friends who are relatively young and healthy like Joey and could get cancer at any moment while knowing that current medical treatment has little to no effect on curing cancer while making the body worse and susceptible to other deadly illnesses.
