The mare also stumbled around, before collapsing next to the stallion. They both died afterward.

 

Omega slowly descended on his cloud laughing hysterically at what just happened.

"Fire!" the Egotist called. "Hurry!"

 

He knelled down by the side of Vinyl and examined the wound.

 

Octavia was staring at the fallen vampony in disbelief. She had just killed a mare.

"Oh man that was good" he said clapping in applause with a sick grin.

[Victoria and Co. 782]

Egotist stood up and turned to face Omega.

 

He poised himself into an attack stance, his horn sparking to life.

 

"Who are you?" he asked bluntly.

[Chickey 383]

"I would be Omega." he said with a grin. "You did a good job doing exactly what i thought you would do. Want me to tell you what just happened?" he asked

[Victoria and Co. 782]

The Egotist gritted his teeth.

 

"Why don't you tell me? I am a guest after all."

midnight shrugged, he was bored and needed something to do

"A few days ago, i found a newly married couple." he said looking to the dead mare and the stallion "And the stallion's big brother" he said looking to the larger stallion that was killed by the wings. "Out on a stroll, i turned them and told them if they didn't do what i asked, they would die. And if they did, i would teach them how to control the hunger.

 

(You could have Midnight do something with cloud, most of my other characters are busy. Or star berry could show up)

"So," the Egotist asserted. "Either you're a liar, or you didn't get what you wanted, because, you know, they're dead."

"I asked them to kill you on a suicide mission of course, i knew they would fail" he said "I just wanted to test you really, and ya didn't disappoint"

Star walked around ponyville, she had left her house seeing there was nothing for her to do there. She decided to visit ponyville, seeing she hadn't done it in a while. She noticed a familiar pony close by. She walked up to Midnight "Hey, don't i know you from the camp?" she asked

"If you found them a few days ago," the Egotist glared at Omega, unsure of what to think. "Why would you make the promise you did? I only arrived today."

midnight looked up, "oh.....yeah, star...right?"

[Chickey 383]

"Nah, i just told them to kill you as soon as you arrived." he said "I asked them to do a few other things before you showed up too"

 

Star nodded, she looked at him "You alright?" she asked after a few seconds

midnight shrugged, "just bored, and nothing really fun to do, wanna do something?"

[Victoria and Co. 782]

"Alright," Egotist nodded, it seemed logical enough, but still something gnawed at the back of his mind. He pushed the thought away. "But what now? Surely you didn't just want to see me fight some hungry vampire ponies."

Star shrugged and giggled "I'm not really the most active person lately, but i suppose" she said

 

"Yeah that's about it, i just wanted to screw with you" he said as he looked to Vinyl "But, the second objective was completed too"

"Alright" She said "But i haven't been here for a long time, i would have no idea where to go." She explained while scratching her head

"And what was that?" the Egotist asked, fearful of Omega's response. "What was the secondary goal?"

"Well, it was just really a thing of fate, i was just going to see if it happened, and it did" he said with a smug smirk "That pony was infected in the fray" he said pointing to Vinyl with his hoof

midnight nodded, "lets just walk, see where that leads us?" he smiled and fell in step with star, "to be honest ive been wishing to do something with somepony, but cloud is busy for the next few days."

Star nodded and started to walk around town with Midnight "My guess is Cloud is your 'Special sompony' then?" she asked with a smile.
