"do you just steal them, or do they give them too you or what?" he tilted his head slightly, he could smell somepony somewhere, he wasnt sure where, but the smell of their blood was driving a more feral part of his mind insane.

"and when you say civil, you mean that some vampires can go.....how can i say this....insane?"

"Steal them. Vampires have not been a problem for quite some time. Better to remain unseen or undetected. But seeing what has been happening that might not be necessary." he said "Feral is a better way to put it. i'm quite insane actually." he said with a slight laugh.

yeah....well, theres a smell around here thats driving me insane, and i dont know what it is....." he smiled "you know were all insane in our own way..."

he sighed and looked down, "so what happenes if i attack somepony?"

"I suppose that depends how you attack them. If you bite and drain some of their blood, they probably will turn into what we are. If you just flat out attack them they will probably die"

"which is better for the pony? i doubt many of them would accept being a vampire as quickly as i did..." he frowned, " what are the skills that a vampire needs to learn, besides, blood drinking, and being stealthy...."

Shadow shrugged "I truly don't know what would be better" he said "Self control is probably the most important thing. That you really have to learn on your own. Besides mastering your powers though. What powers you have depends what you were reborn with" he said "Me and Fire were a special case, my guess is a few of our traits were passed down. If you can use magic now, then i'm right." he said "Besides the special ones you should now have enhanced speed, and strength."

midnight frowned in thought, putting everything he had heard in some mental notes, "oh...um fire....or" he turned to the batpony, "ummm, whoever you are, did either of you happen to get my bow or arrows?" he turned back to shadow, "and...magic? how do i use that?, and i guess discovering my power would just be through training and focus?"

he paused, "that sounded cheesy..."

Shadow shook his head. "Nope, I don't think anyone picked them up." he said "Using magic is probably the hardest part."

midnight shrugged, "guess ill have to go back and get them later, anyway," he started pacing slowly, "well, what should i try? just to see if i may have it or not?"

[Chickey 383]

"Seeing the fact you are skilled in archery, this may come easier if we try this." he said as he easily created a bow and arrow out of thin air, it was made out of some odd black material. "Try to visualize the bow in front of you and focus on making or creating one"

midnight tilted his head then shut his eyes, picturing a bow, just a bow for the moment, his quiver still securely attached to his leg, he could easilly see its shape, and the way he wanted it to look, then it just appeared, right there on the table, he blinked, and poked it for a moment, it felt solid so he picked it up and felt it over, "feels just like mine....only....lighter," he drew an arrow and stood on his hind legs, drawing the bow and firing out the window, the arrow sailing and cutting an apple from its stemwith no other blemishes.

but as soon as he let the drawstring go, the bow dissappeared, "guess i need practice?"

"Suppose so, after you can master that, using telekinesis magic should be next." he said "Although, I must say, not bad, not too many people can use magic that fast."

midnight shook his head, "i do best by watching, then copying." he smiled, his eyes becomeing completely red,

"could you find use for a marksman like me?"

"Of course i can" he said "I don't see why it matters if you are useful or not though" he said. He used the bow and created a few arrows the levitated around him freely. He sent one in the bow and pulled it back and let it go. Sending it out the window, not really caring what it hit.

midnight shrugged, "im active, id rather be doing something with myself, i dont really do well by sitting around, unless im engrossed in a good book, this being an exception beacuse id rather get most of my questions out of the way."

he frowned and tried again, conjuring the bow and a few arrows of his own, he picked one up, satisfied with the way it looked, he then stood on his hind legs, drawing the bow back and letting the arrow fly hitting the apple again, before swiftly drawing another and letting that one go.

"my talent was archery after all, although, many ponies, mostly unicorns wonder how a pegasus is so talented at a previously unicorn only sport."

"Archery was never my cup of tea" he said despawning the bow. He focused on the tree before a dark beam shot out of thin air and at the tree. Exploding on impact, causing the tree to fragment into a thousand pieces.

 

(Going to have to head to bed pretty soon)

midnight watched in admiration, "thats diffenetly something," he smirked and despawned his own bow and arrows, "being able to do that sort of thing in the blink of an eye," he frowned putting a hoof to his forehead, "i think ill be needing some blood soon hmm?"

midnight sighed, "alright, ill just 'go out'" he smiled with a slightly twisted grin, "ill make sure to clean up after myself and be back in a bit."

he bowed politely then went to the door, he didnt know what he was going to do, but he would figure it out when he finally did something.

*Xiro woke up slowly. All of the others were still asleep. She sat up and looked beside her. Harley, still asleep in the chair. Xiro noticed that there was still a lot of room on the chair, so, she clibed up onto the chair and snuggled up next to him.*

Shadow walked out of the cabin while Fire followed "Keep an eye on him so he doesn't do anything rash." he said. Shadow shrugged "Well he did take it better than i would of though"

 

Shadow started off back towards his house. When he reached it and walked inside, the same feeling of being utterly alone started to sink back in. As he sat back down in the couch, his magic began to wear off. The furniture, electronics and color of the house began to slowly fade or crumble to dust that would soon fade away afterwards. Leaving only the couch and the picture of Rain and him left in the empty grey house.

midnight stalked around just generally keeping a low profile, he then noticed a mare, she was young, just barely come of age, he frowned, she was what he had been smelling all this time, it was midnight, but when he looked around, a few buildings had been destroyed, and this was interesting, but not many ponies out and about.

"did they not notice what went on? or am i just being ignorant..." he shrugged, this mare was acting strangely, or was it the feral part of his mind....he really didnt know.

Fire reached the camp and sat down with a sigh "Another interesting day...." he thought.

midnight stood outside the hospital, looking up at the doors, he couldnt figure out why he couldnt go inside, something was just.....blocking him.

"hey...you okay?" one of the nurses approached him, "do you have someone you need to visit?"

midnight shut his eyes then smiled an nodded,

"come inside then, we will get you sorted out."

at least he had control of himself, for the moment at least,

he followed the nurse to the reception desk, then while her back was turned, he dissappeared around the corner.

"here you...." she blinked "umm....hello?"

 

midnight was shaking a bit, like this was some bad addiction he had never had before, he turned the corner and smiled seeing the door labeled blood storage room.

He looked around making sure there was nopony in the vicinity and brought his hoof down on the lock, he thought it would hurt, but it actually hurt alot less then he anticipated, in fact it didnt hurt at all, his eyes widened as he caught the broken lock with his wing to make sure it didnt clatter.

"why would they lock the door for the blood storage? dont they need it quickly?"

he shook his head, he wasnt complaining, and swung the door open and slipped inside.

A few guards were walking around the hospital due to the recent events.

 

This was the first moment in a very long time where Harley actually felt good, in his sleep he could only wonder why.

 

(Might be playing minecraft on the xbox for a bit)
