Atropa had been like her partner in failure these past few years. And seeing her upset messed with Sasha pretty bad too. He found her on a swing, he went up and sat on one next to her, saying nothing. He pulled out his iPod, putting in one earphone and offering Atropa the other, a friendly gesture if nothing else. She noticed Jake's tightened muscles, ready to chase her. "Sometimes we just need to be alone. I'm sure she'll talk about it when she's ready. All you can go now is just be there for her." Hayley smiled at Sasha and Jake, "I wish I could stay and talk, but duty calls." Hayley said holding up the package. Hayley looked back and saw Jake and Sasha had already left. Hayley sighed. She kicked her and spat on her, taking Jake's ipod and throwing it on the ground. "I'm gonna go get high, don't follow me." She walked to Brenden's house, and went through his unlocked window. She layed down on his bed and closed her eyes. How dare Sasha punch her? That shit hurt! Her nose was bleeding, and she wiped it on her sleeve. She layed there for a while, and then she heard Brenden's voice. "Atropa, are you in here?" He was walking through the front door, yelling at her. "What the fuck, you dumb bitch? Why are you in my house?" He went into his room and pulled her up by her hair, then smacked her. "And why did you go to the hospital? You better not have told anyone about me." He didn't try to help Atropa, and he didn't move towards Jake either. Atropa was unconscious, and she was bleeding from the mouth, head and nose. She needed to be taken to the hospital. BANG! BANG! He set her down a moment and called an ambulance, then picked her back up and took her to where the would be at. When the ambulance arrived, he went with them, not wanting to leave her side. The principal called Atropa's mother to let her know what has been happening. Hayley left for the hospital. When she arrived she saw Jake in the waiting room. "Hey Jake. How's she doing in there?"
