weesh 690 July 9, 2016 Share July 9, 2016 I spent about 2 hours writing pony words and phrases (thank you mlp.wikia.com for so many words) on index cards this morning before a meeting, and we played ponified catch phrase at our club. The stack was about 140 cards, and we only went through about 70 in half an hour. was a big hit, and even worked for the new and less enfranchised fans. I definitely tailored the cards to be newbie friendly. for instance, I didn't use "cranky doodle donkey", but I did use "iron will", because it is possible for someone who doesn't know who iron will is to get others to guess it since its a common phrase. i wish I'd thought to use this at my last club, because it was low effort for a great game. What games have you guys enjoyed at your clubs? 1 Send me pictures of ponies in hoodies

Justin_Case001 4,898 July 10, 2016 Share July 10, 2016 That sounds like a hoot. I want to play. But what intrigues me more is simply the idea that you apparently have some real world pony club that you meet with. That's awesome and mystifying to me. I wish I had something like that. I can't wrap my mind around how people find or create things like that. I don't know any bronies irl, and all my efforts to find any sort of group have failed. For instance, I researched brony meetups, and there's only one in my whole state, and it's a couple hundred miles away, and it's comprised of two people who don't meet or do anything. I also tried to start a real-life meeting group using a forum for just bronies in my state. No one ever showed up or answered my thread. Sorry for the rant. Great game idea. Great game idea. yeah, I've been to a lot of lame clubs. one of the reasons I helped start this one was because I didn't want to drive for 70 minutes on a road with lots of construction just to talk about violent video games at a brony club. amusingly, the best club I've ever been a part of was in a city of just 30,000 people (that also had a college). Consider starting a facebook group for your city and try to see if you can put a committed core group together. 1 Send me pictures of ponies in hoodies
