Because if that isnt being planned for the film, it should! Eh, since its so much of a pipe dream for the movie, I think it'd be better if you'd made a topic just saying "I want the Sirens to show up in canon FIM" in the normal MLP series section. But I'll agree, I loved the sirens. They're one of the reasons Rainbow rocks is the only EQG movie I legitimately liked, as they were very enjoyable villains with a great dynamic and niche to them. Its nice having "True" villains in the movie who aren't just "misunderstood" or see the error of their ways at the end like we've gotten so far with FG (Like... No villain. at all. just random crap happening, as Cinch is just more of a douche antagonist than villain) or how LOE looks to be shaping up to be "Midnight sparkle 2: electric boogaloo" with Gloriosa. I'd LOVE for them to return as the villains of another movie, trying to regain their magic maybe, or working with another villain to that end. That means it hasn't even been TWO years since they last appeared. Trixie went longer than that without an appearance, and she's a fan favorite. I will admit I'm wondering where the Minis of them are though I think they'd sell well, better than flash sentry at least. I know they'll probably be in the next wave, but still. What are a few months when your hurting for your sexy purple mama! I will admit Trixie got a raw deal, But who really got it from the back was Gilda. How many episodes did it take till she and RD could bury the hatchet, int he lamest way possible!!! Dash should have been begging for her friends old graces once she seen the hell G had to live in. But getting off topic. DHX are masters of making money and timing. I will allow them that! That being said they know when to drop the Trixie bomb, they know when to spray the Luna canon (Where is my Celestia/Luna flash back episode with them as fillies!!!!!!!!!!!!). But i am sick of waiting for them to pull the Siren trigger and I am willing to sit and roll my eyes over "Taco Tuesday" jokes when clearly it's all about the Grape juice, to get what I demand! You never know what you're going to get until you take a bite! It could be Strawberry, it could be earwax! Nobody knows! Bah! Bah I say! Perhaps in the human world they needed their gems. In Equestria, they could go for broke and try for a takeover without them. Or how about this? They con Rarity into regenerating the crystals and then seize power! This would require Rarity gaining new magical powers though (She's able to locate gems, but lacks any other magical power over, fanwank of Gemkinesis be damned).
