Did the plunder vines make it's way to Equestria Girls?

Discord uses the plunder seeds to grow the plunder vines to slowly destroy the Tree of Harmony. There was also something similar to the portals opened by Midnight Sparkle that has plunder vines.

 

The 6 EoH crystals somehow makes an appearance in the Equestria Girls world that gave Gloriosa her powers but her powers came in the element of the plunder vines. 

 

Is it possible the 6 EoH crystals were somewhat effected by the plunder vines? The EoH crystals were placed on the Tree of Harmony while it was held by the vines after all so maybe the EoH crystals adopted the essence of the vines or took it with them and manifested in Gloriosa.

I am pretty sure that the plunder vines were taken care of completely by the end of the season 4 premiere, which took place a while before the events of Friendship Games or Legend of Everfree.
