Today was they day that Feliks would attend the first world meeting in a long time. He was sitting in his protected car, with his ceremonial suit on. 

 

 

He had big plans for this meeting, one of them being to come one step closer to recreating the soviet union. The second being to denounce the amercian president, and the third being to gather as many allies as he could. Not because he needed them for war, but for economical growth. He was sure that a country like Canada could use the crazy amount of furs he had in stock. The car stopped, and Feliks walked inside the big hall which was the room where the meeting took place. "Russia's leader, Felisk Adolphus, has arrived" Called out the announcer as russian flags where raised when Felisk walked by. He took a seat in his chair, after he nodded at the leaders that where present.

 

To his left, sat Maria Campbell. Canada's leader. Funny how the only two countries with different rulesystems where seaten together so that the so called democratic people, know where and what we are doing. Seeing that not everyone was there, he decided to mingle with Maria "Pleasure to meet you Miss Campbell. Ready for the big meeting?" Asked Feliks

Maria Campbell, queen Maria Campbell, was sitting in the big conference room among all the other world leaders. In her short reign as the queen of canada she hadn't been to a world meeting before but her advicors had told her everything she needed to know and even her mother had wished her luck. That last one was special since the old queen didn't show herself often after the king had died.

 

She looked around slightly nervous to all the big leaders, fiddled with her skirt but then relaxed her hands again, but soon she started playing with the sleeve of her white jacket, then with her hair and then realised what she was doing and forced herself to let her hands lay down quietly on her lap, but she started tapping with her foot.

Annoyed with herself she sighed and closed her eyes for a second, why was she so nervous? Why wasn't she calming down? She needed to give herself something to do, that would calm her down.

 

She heard the russian leader be announced and a young guy walked in, she folowed him with her eyes while he walked through the room and sat down next to her. She nodded when she received his greeting "even so, sir Adolphus, it's an honour to meet you." she said with a calm and formal voice, and a matching smile on her face "of course I'm ready, how about you?"

Feliks shrugged "Dunno, it's all about who is the best liar, and who is the most intimidating in this room. Personally i would say that i can lie like hell, but hey, who am i to say that?" Said Feliks, unlike Maria, he didn't speak formally. Why? He couldn't care less about rank and silly formalities.

Feliks shrugged "Dunno, it's all about who is the best liar, and who is the most intimidating in this room. Personally i would say that i can lie like hell, but hey, who am i to say that?" Said Feliks, unlike Maria, he didn't speak formally. Why? He couldn't care less about rank and silly formalities.

 

Maria was overwhelmed by the way mr adolphus spoke, she wasn't used to this at all, not even in a private situation people spoke like that to her. And what he said was unusual too, the best liar? And he even said he was a good liar himself. "Sorry if this may sound rude but I have to disagree with that statement." she said "this isn't about lying, a ruler who is liar is a bad ruler, in my opinion. If you say something then you have to handle that way too. And if you don't do what you say, you're unworthy of being the ruler of a country." "but of course, that's my point of view" she added quietly.

Maria was overwhelmed by the way mr adolphus spoke, she wasn't used to this at all, not even in a private situation people spoke like that to her. And what he said was unusual too, the best liar? Feliks smiled. He was happy that a leader stil had a pure thought process. "I was talking about the meeting, not the country ruling. I do have to agree on the tuling part though. If you can't keep a promise, then don't make a promise in the first place" Said Feliks as he looked over at the various leaders

Maria looked at him, thinking about if she liked him or not. Not that it mattered anyway, she had to treat everyone in this room with respect and it didn't matter if she liked them or not. But still, she was a human and she had people who she liked and who she didn't. She still wasn't sure about him though. "On this meeting it's not about lying either, leaders shouldn't lie and if they do then they shouldn't be leaders." she simply said and then she turned the other way and studied the other people, secretly wondering if they would lie or not.

Feliks looked down, a pitying smile on his face "We shall see..." The host of the meeting, who was USA, stood up "I hereby declare the first meeting of 2016, in motion" He said. He took out a lot of documents and directed his gaze straight at Feliks "So, i would like to start by saying that Russia has deployed armed military forces next to Romania. Any particular reason for that?" Asked USA's president. Feliks took out some documents of his own "Yes indeed, Mr Hemmingway" Some of the documents he had, contained pictures of a missile defense system "As you can clearly see on that picture, it displays a rocket armed defense system." Hemmingway seemed nervous suddenly. "And if you zoom in on it" Feliks showed another picture "You can clearly see the USA's flag on it. Now, for the reason that i have decided to send armed forced towards the rocket system, is because i have made experts do research and they say" He showed a picture of some big rockets "That these rockets are developed to take advantage of wind free zones, and guess what Moscow is? Wind free. Plus, this system has access to bombard any major russian city without it being able to get hit before its too late"

 

He looked Hemmingway in the eye "I would call that a pretty good reason to deploy forces just in case"

Maria listened quietly to the question the amarican leader asked, and mr. Adolphus answer. Did amarica really just ask that? Or were the photos fake? She recalled him saying that he 'can lie like hell' so maybe he knew that amarica was going to ask that and made up the photos, or maybe amarica asked the question because they wanted to deny that they send that rocket. Maria's thought were swinging back and forth to who could be lying but then she shook her head, this wasn't right, there was probably a logical explanation for this and she shouldn't reside to making such accusations, even if only in her head.

Maria nervously tapped with her foot, that was something serious that america had rockets aimed at russia, but they would probably have their reasons and she shouldn't get involved in that. What she should get involved in, was trading with other countries. She raised her hand to let him know that she wanted to maybe make an economical agreement. "Could you please specify what you're over producing exactly?" she asked politely.

Feliks nodded "Of course" He took out a detailed chart "We currently have tons of furs, specifically fox fur. A lot of of rubber, coal and wood." He looked at Maria after telling her what they had "Anything that could be of interest to your country?" Asked Feliks politely as he mentally noted down the other interested leaders. He could already guess that China was in need of that coal.

Maria couldn't help but smile a tiny little bit. "Of animal fur and wood we have enought in canada." she said with a smile, because most of the country was uninhabited and there were lots of forests and wildlife, a shortage of wood or fur would be pretty much impossible. "However, we could use the rubber well." she said with a small nod.

Feliks nodded "Noted, i will contact you later on to specify details and such. Now, China what do you need?" An elderly man looked up at Feliks "The coal please, we are willing to pay over price for it if needed" Said the elderly man, to which Feliks smiled at "We shall see then. I do believe that won't be necessary unless another country is interested as well. Anyways, the same deal goes for you as Maria. I will make sure to contact you later on" He wrote down the leaders names next to the resources.

Maria nodded as an answer and wrote down some notes on their deal. In her head she also noted that mr Adolphus didn't adress her as miss Campbell but just as Maria, but she didn't know what to do with this information yet.

 

Then he proposed another deal which she wasn't so sure about, but it did sound like it could be an interesting deal. "What exactly do you mean with that?" she asked politely with a raised hand.

On the inside, maria was slightly panicking, her advisors didn't say anything about such a thing, but it sounded too good to pass. On the outside she remained calm like always "I must admit it sounds like a good deal but before I agree I have to discuss it" she just said and then she scribbled down some notes.

Now, for my last point" He folded his hands in a "I mean buisness" Fashion "I am looking for nations that would like to have close relations with Russia, a public declaration of friendship if you will. Such things will give us both access to embassies for future political relations, a protection agreement for wars, meaning that Russia will have your back if you in return have ours and other benefits. Anyone willing?" Again, China's leader raised his hand "I am willing to join forces" He said. Feliks smiled "Excellent, anyone else?"

Again, a tempting deal, almost she had raised her hand but then she didn't because if her advisors and the rest of the government didn't agree on this deal then she would be in big trouble. Therefor she hasitantly raised her hand "I would like to discuss this too first before I agree" she said, but deep down she hated it, she sounded like a terrible leader who didn't want to decide anything on her own but that's just how she was, she didn't concider herself experienced enough to make such importand decisions on her own.

Feliks noticed Maria's rather hesitant way of dealing with this. No doubt her first world congress. She was also ruling as a monarchy, so unless she has taken all the power she has to take things through advisors and nobles first. Such a pain. Fortunately, Communism allowed Feliks to become a dictator so that he didn't have to go through such bullshit. "Alright, your interest is yet again noted. He looked out at the table, and saw that Ukraine was also interested in that. "We would also love to join forces, is there by any chance a way we could create a union of some sort?" Asked Ukraine's leader. Feliks smiled. The soviet union was on its way... "Of course! China, how about we create the RUC? That will be a union between Russia, China and Ukraine." Both leaders agreed. "Excellent, we shall discuss more after the meeting gentlemen"

Maria listened when the three leaders decided to form a whole new union on, which seemed like, a whim. she clenched her fists, she wasn't sure if she liked this, sideways she glanced at the amarican leader, surely he wouldn't like this one bit, russia, ukraine and china together would form a really powerfull nation and if they wanted they could defenitly over power america.

Just like Maria predicted it, Hemmingway was not fond of this new found union. He did not express himself since it would probably be a bad idea to declare war on a three way alliance. Feliks grinned. This was real good. An alliance as strong as this would give him enough time to put together the soviet union

He knew that Canada was in good relations with USA, so joining the union would without a doubt break their relations since Hemmingway hated his and Russia's guts. Since nobody had anything else to add, the meeting was over. Feliks got up and swiftly put away his documents and notes, after making sure he had everything, he started walking towards the exit.

Maria sighed when the meeting was over. She waited a few moments so that most other leaders had gotten up and made their way to the exit before folowing them. She had her suitcase with files and notes in one hand and walked causually among the stream of other world leaders but she manouvered through them untill she walked next to mr. Adolphus. She cleared her throath before speaking so she wouldn't accidentally scare him "ahem, axcuse me, mr Adolphus, could I maybe talk to you for a minute?" she asked him politely.

Feliks looked down at Maria when she cleared her throat "Yes of course" He stopped walking and waited for the rest to disperse from the room "What is it that you wanted to talk about?" Asked Feliks with a polite smile. This was strange, what could she want from him after the meeting?
