Shade nods "Very lucky indeed, would it be alright if I went to see her?" he asks as he stands up and stretches "I'll be back before you two head off, I just want to make plans with her before leaving" he says and hugs his friend before flying off to the boutique. He knocks on the door "Rarity? darling?"

Rarity walks up to the door and looks out the peephole. Opening the door when she sees Shade. "Well hello there Shade, nice to see you this morning."

 

She then steps to the side to let Shaded in. "Well come in dear make yourself at home." When the pair was inside Rarity asked, "Would you like something to drink?"

shade smiles "Well..some of that tea would be nice, I thought I'd come by before going to Canterlot with the others so that we could make plans for while we were there together" he says as he sits down and smiles again then he frowns "Rarity, there is something I must ask of you though..I think you know what is my kind's primary source of food, now I want you to know, I'd never take it from you without your permission, but well..It's been such a long time a-and I was wondering w-what your love t-tasted and felt like" he says with a slight blush

Rarity started up some water, and moments later the tea was ready made the same way as last time. Rarity blushed a little herself. "Sure dear I wouldn't mind to give it a try." Rarity sat there a bit confused on the how. "Would you mind to tell me how to give you love? I've never done this before."

He smiles "I simply touch you with my horn and I will feed, I'll start slowly at first" he says as he does so, and closes his eyes. He couldn't help but moan a little as he fed off of her love, he then opens his eyes and licks his muzzle "Mm wow, your love is so sweet and genuine, I better be careful, lest I get fat off of it" he chuckles and looks down to his belly "My queen would have a field day if I got fat"

To Rarity the feeding was a strange feeling but not an unwelcome one, once it was over she had a wave of warmth wash over him. "Wow that was something else quite pleasant if I do say so myself." Rarity giggles, "Yes dear we would not want you getting fat now would we."

He chuckles and kisses her softly "Well a little chubbiness wouldn't matter toot much, give you something to snuggle up to" he says and shakes his head "Crystal always said I was like her teddy bear" he then fluffs up his fur a little in protest "She had a way with words that one"

Rarity kissed Shaded back, "You'll find I too have a way with words." Rarity winked

 

 

Back at the cabin Indicus laid next to Crystal listening to her evey breath and beat of her heart as she slept. It was quite soothing to the hybrid stallion, and it was also very cute seeing Crystal sleep.

Shade smiles and blushes a little "I have no doubt on that love" he says and nuzzles her "So, plans, will you be travelling with us or with your friends? Also, where will you be staying?"

 

Crystal continued to sleep, thinking on the Gala and how wonderful it will be to be there again, especially with a lover in tow.

"I will be going with my friends but it should be simple enough to find us even with the crowd as for sleeping arrangements we will be staying in a high class five star hotel all costs covered by the crown." Rarity says  before taking a sip of her tea. "Well I assume since you are Crystal's guard you will be with them. Any idea of where you will be staying?"

"Knowing Crystal and the Princesses, especially her royal moon butt" he chuckles at the last part "We will be staying at the guest rooms in the castle" he chuckles once more at Rarity's reaction "Don't worry, after spending so long in her service, both Indicus and I have enough of a history with them that we get away with calling them names like that"

Rarity giggles and shakes her head. "Well excuse me then I'm just not used to ponies referring to the princesses in such a way so casually, though after serving so close to them for years on end I could see such a friendship come up between you, your friend Indicus and the princesses, though I expect Twilight to very much get bent out of shape if she hears either of you refer to the princesses in such a casual and crass manner."

He chuckles "We don't always use their nicknames, only in private" he explain then stretches "Well m'lady, I should return to the house, Crystal is probably worried about me by now, we may no longer be together but I am still her personal guard, I'd be doing a poor job if I made her worry on my first day" he laughs somewhat before kissing her cheek

Rarity nodded and waved, "It has been nice talking to you some more Shade till next time."

 

At the cabin Indicus was still besides his marefriend watching her sleep peacefully, something that reminded him why he loved her so much. He knew he would do anything to let her sleep this peacefully for the rest of time.

Shade waves one more time before flying off to the house. He noticed that they must have been inside again and walks in to start packing his things for the trip, including his suit.

 

Crystal soon slowly woke up and smiled at him, she kisses his nose "Goodmorning my ruggedly handsome hunter"

Indicus gave Crystal a kiss in response. "Good morning my beautiful queen." Indicus smiled and climbed out of bed. He headed to the kitchen to quickly prepare breakfast for the three of them. Soon after the light breakfast of eggs and toast was finished and on the table for everyone to eat.

Crystal smiles and yawns cutely, and suddenly Shade could be heard saying "Even over a century passes, and you're still as adorable as you were when you were a little foal" he says as he smiles at her and bows "My Qu.." 

 

She cuts him off "Cut it out Shade, you may be my protector, but really, I'm no Queen, not anymore anyway" she says and kisses his cheek "Though it is nice to hear your voice in the morning again, I think breakfast is ready"

"Eggs and toast for breakfast everyone! Nice satisfying and simple." Indicus said as if he was selling the food.

 

"Well enjoy the meal I have everything for Crystal and I packed. I'm assuming that you have your stuff packed and we have awhile till the the train arrives so there is no rush.". Indicus started eating his own food.

Both Shade and Crystal sit down to eat "thanks for the food pal" Shade says and starts to eat "Rarity's going to be in a five star hotel with her friends, but you recon there should be enough time to visit? Because knowing moon and sunbutts, they'd rope me into helping you with the job" he says with a chuckle then looks to Crystal "You should have plenty of time to visit them though, I bet you're looking forward to it"

 

Crystal smiles and nods, swallowing a bite "I am, it'll be good to see my old friends again"

Indicus shrugs, "Shaded even if they do rope you in just go ahead and visit rarity I can do the majority of the investigation on my own and just call you with the same spell we used in the marines. I still can manage plenty of pull in the guard defiantly with my old pupil as the Lunar guard captain."

Shade smiles "Thanks mate, I have no doubt you could handle it, especially with Night Wing's help, she was always the best of our trainees" he says and smiles at Crystal "if I find you nibbling on their manes or tails again, I'm never gonna let you live it down dear" he says with a slight purr and it made Crystal blush and giggle softly

"Indicus laughed, "Well that would be a sight to see a grown mare nibbling on manes and tails." Indicus focused his attention to Shaded and nodded, "She was wasn't she. So do you know how your ex pupil has been doing lately? I forgot their name It has been awhile."

"you mean Swift Wing? i heard he's doing well enough, he kind of followed our suit of semi retirement after what happened to our group" he says "You know Dusk was like a sister to him" he says with a sigh "she was like a sister to a lot of us" he then looks down then chuckles "She may be a grown mare but has the spirit of a filly, it's quite endearing/

Indicus sighed, "Yea she meant a lot to the group and they all meant a lot to us. Sad to know we were the only two to survive but they live on in our hearts and the bastard responsible will never harm another ever again." Indicus let his words settle for a moment before continuing, "May they live on forever in whatever afterlife exists." Indicus then left the room to check on the bags and make sure everything was ready and to put on his light armor.

Shade nods "I'm sure wherever they are, they are watching over us" he says with a smile then looks to Crystal "enough dark energy, we don't want her to get upset" he says, nuzzling his queen who nuzzles him back before she goes to pick up her bags and Shade does the same.
