Quinty woke up and yawned, at first she was confused about where she was but then she remembered everything that had happened yesterday, and especially last night, a smile curled around her lips but she decided that if clockwork didn't remember it she wouldn't say anything about it, that was probably for the best.

 

after having stretched a bit she kicked away the blanket and got up and went downstairs, there she saw clockwork was awake aswell and working already. "good morning" she said as she comes downstairs "don't you ever stop working?" she shook her head and smiled.

Clockwork looks up from his blueprints and smiles at her "I believe I did, I must have fallen asleep at the workbench again, as I woke up to find a pillow under my head and a blanket over me" he says with a smile "at first I thought it was you and I was going to thank you, but then I saw this note" he says giving it to her "Would seem Princess Luna was watching over me, probably due to my father but still.. also uhm.." he then rubs the back of his neck with his metallic hand "If you were down here at any point, d-did I s-say anything in my sleep?"

"Said something?" quinty repeated, she didn't know if she should say the truth or not "oh yea, I was down here at some point, I beleve you muttered something to that cute little plush kitty of yours but I didn't quite understand what." she said, trying not to show that it wasn't 100% the truth, but she also didn't 100% lie.

He looks to the kitty "Delilah? No, though I think I rem.." he closes his eyes and sighs "If I said I love you to anyone, i-it would have been to you or about you" he says softly, his eyes still closed, but he had rubbed the back of his neck again, somewhat nervously. "I-I'm sorry, I just can't seem to get you out of my mind. I mean you're.." he sighs "Well to be honest, words cannot describe you properly"

Quinty blushed and didn't know what to say, this usually never happened but it seemed to have happened quite a lot when she was around Clockwork. she opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something but she couldn't find the right words so she closed it again and looked at her feet, her hands nervously woven together. 

 

finaly she took a breath "I-I think I know what you mean though" she said as she brushed her hair behind her ear "because... I feel the same, I think" she said and nervously looked up.

Clockwork smiles and nods  as he puts the plush kitten back on her perch that was on the workbench "I've had her since I was a newborn colt. Princess Luna gave her to me right after I was born, and told me she would always watch over me and make sure I was safe" he says, "I mean, in a way she is like an aunt to me, what with my father being her best admiral and captain of her vessel" he says with a light chuckle.
