Can the Mane Six stop a katamari ball?

As you can see, a katamari ball consists of random objects being rolled into it to make it bigger. Anything can get rolled up; people, animals, cars, buildings, you name it. In the Katamari games, some cosmic prince is always tasked with rolling up enough stuff on Earth into a katamari ball to fix whatever screw ups the king had caused in the universe, like accidentally erasing stars and constellations, creating black holes, etc.

 

This time though, a new katamari ball appears in Equestria. The universe is in stable condition, so as far as Celestia or Luna can tell, this one's rolling things up for no apparent reason. And the Mane Six have been ordered to stop it.

 

But can they?
