trademark2 485 January 2, 2017 Share January 2, 2017 (edited) For those that don't know, 'betterponymotes' is an extension several mlp reddit threads have that allow an extensive database of pony emoticons. Some of them are even animated, and you can even submit your own ponymoticons that you create to be added to the database. I do realize that mlpforums has their own ponymoticons. These would not have to go away! The 'betterponymotes' emoticons would not be a replacement, but rather a supplement to current icons. They are not similiar to the current icons in any way (well they are ponies but other than that) Technically, I'm not sure if this is possible, but I think it is. The ponymote icons can work anywhere if you have the 'betterponymotes' addon. I have used them on deviantart and youtube forinstance (I first saw them on an art stream on youtube). I don't know, but I suspect if the admins wanted to, they could make it so the ponymotes showed up on this website without having to have the addon. It might be a little bit of work, but it would be so, so worth it! edit: its really hard to describe that this is something different than the smiley emotes. The smiley emotes are smiley emotes, they don't fill the same role at all (they fill a different role). Ponymotes are used to express other things. Right now, we do have small smiley emotes, but theres a limit to what you can do with that.
