Fireworks chuckled. "Wouldn't you mind giving me one of your fish? I cought 3 today and my sister wanted 2 so I just ate one and I;m sure hungry, would you mind giving me one?" she asked. "If you can't then please tell me where you got so many fish!" she asked.

"Of course I can spare one" He said as he handed one to FireWorks "The best place to catch fish is past the regular fishing spot"

The fox observes the conversation, intrigued yet a bit confused. Are foxes rare here? By Snowglobe’s words, they must be. An apparently, some elders around here know he is here. How? Do they have scouts? Crystal balls? Or perhaps there was some prophecy?

 

As a quick way of ensuring nobody else accuses him of stealing the fish, he quickly picks up the fish skeleton and carries it to the nearest relatively hidden spot (in a bush, behind a rock, or some similar place). Even if someone finds it there, they are not likely to automatically blame him now, right?

 

The fox thinks for a moment more on the possibility of leaving on his own, but then is hit by memories of the last time he wandered a town on his own and how lucky he is to be unharmed and uncaptured after such an ordeal. No, it is best if he is with someone. One person would likely get in trouble for caring for him, but the other two…

 

The fox walks toward Snowglobe, looking up at her cutely.

Fireworks hungrily ate the fish Song had given her. "Thanks. Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that spot." she chuckled. Snowglobe patted the fox's head gently with her hoof."Yay the foxie likes me! Foxies are so cute!" she said still patting his head.

The fox smiles, content that things are looking up for his safety here, as well as with the attention itself. However, the whole elders thing still hangs in his mind as an unnerving unsolved mystery.

 

When he thinks on it, the prophecy idea is beginning to sound more plausible to him. After all, shimmering lakes acting as portals to a strange place with strange equine-looking creatures is, to his knowledge, not an everyday occurrence. Perhaps he was, indeed, destined to be brought here. But why?

 

*OOC: So you know in advance, I do not actually have a prophecy in mind for the fox. Unless the GM decides to MAKE such a prophecy, the IC speculation is indeed false.*

"Hey I've got an idea since I can't take care of the fox because you know how my mom can be you can Snowglobe take care of him please" he said on his knees with big puppy dog eyes.

Fireworks sighed as she looked at Song. "I guess I can let him in." she glared at the fox."For sometime." she added. Snowglobe began jumping around the foxie. Fireworks smiled.

Snowglobe is really energetic, isn’t she?

 

The fox is smiling, but a bit cautious in his optimism. After all, this is a strange place with strange beings. What more is in store for him in this place?

Fireworks smiled when she remembered that moment when they were fillies. "Well then, I guess I can take this fox for a while." she said, the she thought "I just said that!"she smiled and looked over at Snowglobe, still jumping around the fox. "I wonder how she doesn't get dizzy." she told Song.

Fireworks laughed at the memory. "My dizzines is much greater than anyones." she said. "Even though, I think we might take the fox to the elders, you know, to know more about the creature." she said.

"True I guess we could and maybe we can ask to here about the old land you now when the sea was lower" he said look out at the sea "I wish I could change it to the way it was" he sighed

The fox now considers it officially confirmed that foxes are quite rare here. Foxes are known of, but it seems not known about very widely.

 

The is cautiously eager to meet the elders. After all, he really wants to know a lot of stuff like how they knew he was here, what all they know or don’t know about foxes, if they know why he’s here, and the like. These elders must be good, people, too, otherwise Fireworks wouldn’t risk taking him to them, right?

 

The fox’s mind does a bit of a double-take as he realizes he nearly missed an important detail. When the sea was lower? So, the sea rose? It must have done so a fairly long time ago, if Song does not recall it from memory.

After taking the fox to the elders with Fireworks and Snowglobe he sat down in front of them and said "Hello elders how are you this fine day" after hearing Song the elders noticed the fox "Why hello there little ones I see you brought the fox" said one of the elders looking at them with a warm smile

It is a good sign that the elders can be greeted by normal means, rather than having to be given a bow and a special formal greeting. They do seem quite friendly.

 

The fox slowly approaches the elders, hoping they might have some insight as to why he is here or perhaps describe this place to him. Or explain about the sea having apparently risen. Or all three.

"Yes we have brought the fox" he said as he looked at the fox " We were here to also hear the story of the risen sea again" he said cheerfully "if you wish" said one of them "Long ago when the ocean was low every pony was happy with its low level one day an evil alicorn came and rose the sea higher then you can imagen" he said

Fullmoon burst through the double doors "ELDERS I MUST SPEAK WITH YOU AT ONCE, THERE HAS BEEN A FOX SIGHTED" she stops noticeing the fox standing with a small filly. than sh notice Song<3 " oh im sorry... hi Song" she blushes. Fullmoon covers her embaressed face with her dark blue hair

The fox tilts his head in confusion. Alicorn? What’s an alicorn? And… that story is rather short. Are there more details, or is that really all that is left of

The fox quickly dives under the nearest table, frightened by the loud words coming from the pegasus? that seemed to come out of nowhere! Okay, to be fair, he was not looking in the direction of the doorway, but still.

The fox slowly comes out from under the table, looking up at the pegasus apparently named Moon. He would have thought his heart had just popped, if he could not clearly feel it beating. Nice pegasus or not, that was really scary!

 

On the bright side, now he has confirmation that these are, indeed, pegasi. A lot different from how he thought pegasi would look, though.
