The fox gets on the boat as it is about to leave.

 

East is as good a direction as any, the fox supposes.

 

He looks once more toward the shore. He only arrived there yesterday and now he is leaving again for parts unknown. Such is the life of a hero, he supposes.

He turns toward Moon "yes Moon?"

really moon just wanted to be with song, she wanted to feel the magic of their lips prested against each others "so what are we now, i know we'er not just friends any more"

"I guess we're dating" said and then gave her a peak I the cheack

even though it was just a small kiss her cheek exploded into flame by the im pact of his lips "ok" before leaveing him to steer the boat she grabs him and pushes her lips against his.

"Hm" Song says muffled by Moons lips

she relesases him flashes him a quick smile than walks off

The fox is surprised. They actually kissed yet! In these types of stories, it usually waits until well past the second half of the adventure. Though, he must concede that he is not in a fantasy tale.

moon sits next to the fox and stroks his soft fur "hey little guy, how it going". she falls into a deep sleep. her dreams are full of terror and sorrow of her mom being kidnapped and killed. she is awoken by the sounds of her own screams

Song sees hear jerk awake "Moon are you ok"

tears start pouring from her eyes, she burries her face in Songs main. "it was my mother, the night she died" she says through fits of crying

Song puts his hoves around her "Shh its ok" he says stroking her mane

her breathing calms and tear stop. something about being in Song's strong arms made her feel safe

"Do you want to talk about it" he says calmly

"ya, it was just strange clips of the night, like haveing her be draged out the smashed window, the gunshot. and me screaming" tears threaten to return to her eyes "there was a part when she was sing to me, and than got hit by somthing hard, her head was bleeding and i didn't know what to do"

Holding her tighter now he said "It's ok I'm here now every thing is alright" he kissed her on the cheack again

they sit there holding each other, till Moon stands up and says "whats that" she is pointing to a flaming red island in frount of them. remebering the song if theres somthing you desire go towards the fire "i think this is our stop" she says

"Ok I can't find a place to dock" he circles the island hopeing for some were to dock "I don't see any were to dock"

Fluffy is napping, as well, when Moon screams, so naturally, the fox wakes up rather startled. He takes an aggressive posture, thinking that the group is under attack, before realizing that nothing is attacking.

 

Moon has a knack for jump-scaring him, huh?

The fox had never met his parents. The White Autumn had given him the knowledge that one of his parents was eaten and that the fate of the other was unknown. The White Autumn had never given him details, though, and he has no memory of it because he was too young to remember.

 

Perhaps he should be glad he knows so little, that no images of the death are held in his mind. One less thing to fuel any nightmares.

The fox is surprised. They are there already?

 

He is also quite nervous. Sure, he has friends, but they cannot protect him absolutely. The fox must be on his guard, for one mistake could end him. Easily.

 

To keep himself from turning tail and fleeing (to where, he knows not), he reminds himself of why he is here. He is the hero of this story. The entire world is depending on him. If he flees, it could doom the world. And if he triumphs here, well, good things happen to successful heroes. Unless they have to sacrifice themselves to save the world. Or end up in an eternal duel with the villain to keep them at bay.

 

Okay, the self-encouragement is not going so well. Being chosen is not pleasant!

without replying to Song she jumps out of the boat and glides along it wings out streched

Song sighs "oh boy" he then docks at a cost line he spotted

she waits on the sandy shores of the red island for the others

FInally docking he unloads the wepons "here" he says handing her a bow and some arrows
