Dreamcatcher 31 January 28, 2017 Share January 28, 2017 Anyone got any MLP inspired recipes? Maybe a pink pie and applesnack or a twilight muffin good enough to eat with a nightmarespoon OK I'll stop with the jokes.

Thuja 3,659 January 28, 2017 Share January 28, 2017 I have a couple of recipes This one is actually based off of Skyrim Sweetrolls but I think the ponies would enjoy this recipe none-the-less *pre-heat oven 375F* 1 cup butter(room temp) 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1/4 cup maple sugar 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 cups flour -Add butter and sugar, mix until fluffy. -Adding one egg at a time, add maple syrup, milk and cinnamon. Add flour. -Bake for 20-30 minutes. I've made this recipe a lot and it's pretty good, I'd recommend using a cupcake tin to make these even though the recipe originally calls for a mini-bundt pan. The mixture before baking is pretty thick so try not to use a flimsy spoon or something to mix it, it will break on you. I've never tried this recipe with apples but it sounds pretty good, if you want to try it, try dicing up an apple and add it to the mix but try it only after you've made the original recipe. This one is pretty much apples and oatmeal, I've only made this once but it was pretty delicious. It makes me think of something applejack would make. *pre-heat oven to 350F* 6 cups of diced & peeled apples 1/4 & 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups regular rolled oats 1/3 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted -combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, apples and vanilla extract into 8-cup baking dish. -combine oats, remaining sugar, flour and cinnamon into separate bowl. Pour in melted butter, stir. Sprinkle over apple mixture and bake for 35-40 min. -cool for 15 min. I'd recommend adding some vanilla ice cream to the servings, pretty good.
