Fixing Notification Problems

It seems to be a recurring problem among many members that they no longer receive notifications of followed topics at the top of the forums. If you are affected or presume you are affected it can be fixed by yourself.

 

First off check your notification settings. make sure he right boxes are checked in the first column. Even if they are checked, still hit Save Changes. once you do, your notifications should work once again.

 

Additionally, check out Content I Follow. Make sure that the topics and forums you do follow have the correct settings, you can modify all the settings there without needing to dig through topics.

 

While we have no clue on what is causing you the notifications to not be updated properly, this should fix any problems you may have. Even if you are unaffected so far.
