It was a cold night, luna's moon shined in its fullest glory.

But among the stars, something strange could be seen.

A red void opens up in space, it started glowing brighter and brighter until it was almost as bright as the sun.

Then for a brief second, there was a flash that had a radius of almost a supernova.

And then the red void was gone...

But a single small shining thing could be seen, growing bigger and bigger in the sky.

Until it crashed in the middle of the everfree forest, causing the earth to shake.

Hooded unicorn was making his way out of the Everfree forest when something appeared to the sky and something fell from the sky. The unicorn was thinking to leave it to be, but his curiosity won and he started making his way towards whatever it was that fell from the sky.

Lot closer to the crash-site there was a another pony, pony made of metal,  walking carefully towards the crash-site. When the pony got close enough to see the crash-site, two slightly smaller heads came out from his neck and started scanning the area, while the middle head kept its eyes on the crater.

In the crater lay a big metal thing, it was on fire, its metal was severely burned and smoke came off from it.

Suddenly a loud thumping could be heard, one of the metal hatches came lose, the metal plate was flung from its craft.

Out of now open hole came 2 hands like things,  and eventually, its entire body climbed out of the craft.

It looked a lot like a cat, but it stood on 2 legs and had a rather different build.

It had white fur, its blue eyes shining in the night.

Tough its body was a total mess, its far with full of old blood and burn marks, scars were all over the place.

It had chains around its feet and arms, tough the chain holding them together seemed to be missing, but what stood out the most was a red glowing mark on its right arm, shining a deep glowing red.

The creature jumped to the ground, but it screamed out in pain, its legs could no longer support his entire body his injuries.

'Where am I?! I do not recognise this planet, I need to know for sure if it has sentient life or not...

It tried to crawl with arms but din't come really far, it just lay there panting really hard on the ground.

The all three heads stared at the cat like creature. With metallic voice, the mouth-less pony said. "This place is called Everfree forest, You are in Equestria, planet's name is unknown to me." He moved closer, but still kept his distance. "And Life here is indeed sentient."  "But do you need help? Your body seems to be in pain." 

 

Meanwhile the hooded pony had gotten close enough to see what was happening, but he stayed in the shadows for now.

The creature's eyes widen in surprise, hearing a voice coming out of nowhere since he did not see the other ponies from the crater.

The creature was still rather young, its body barely bigger than the average pony.

"Y-you are mechanical? I didn't see that coming."

It put its hands on his open wound in a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding.

"Yeah, while I normally don't want to a bother I really need help.."

"Mechanical is not the word that I would use." "Because I am as living as you." The pony walked a lot closer, being now fully visible. "I just am not flesh and bone like everypony else." The two extra heads now went back inside his neck. "Do you have anything to tie around that wound?"

The hooded pony came to view now too. "You can use my cape." He took off the hooded cape with his magic "Introductions can wait for later". He was reddish brown unicorn with blond mane (and tail) and mechanical forelegs. The metal.pony nodded "Very well." Horn raised from his head and he ripped piece of the cape and started wrapping it around the cat-creature's wound with his magic.

"Thank y-you." He said

His breathing became come very deep and heavy.

He could feel his heartbeat, it kept going at a slower pace, until al his muscles suddenly locked up.

With a thud his head collapsed on the ground, his pupils had become bleak.

He tried to say something but those words turned into random grunts as he lost consciousness.

The two ponies looked at each other and then the burning metal-thing. Without words the unicorn knocked his forelegs together and with a blue flash, ground under the creature started moving and created separate solid layer of ground under the creature. "Alchemy..." "Let's use that to carry him out of this crater." Metal-pony nodded, "There is an empty cave nearby, we can move him there." Then they both lit their horns as they started levitating the creature, using the layer of ground under him, towards the said cave.

The creature regained consciousness, as he slow felt the control in his muscles coming back.

He managed to open his eyes and look at his surroundings.

He was in a cave, and there he saw the 2 that he encountered earlier.

It took a while before he gathered his thoughts.

"Thanks for the help back there, but I don't know your names."

"But what I am also curious about is what kind of species are you 2? I haven't heard of your species ever before... But even more surprising is... That your kind is still alive.. I really thought everyone on this planet would have been infected or death, but I was wrong. How did you all manage to survive?" He asked with a confused expression.

"Survive?" "There haven't been anything to survive as long as I have been alive, in fact, there isn't even stories about things like that." "Only evil leaders and such, but nothing deadly." The unicorn looked confused and metalpony had his head tilted. "And I'm a pony, and there is a town full of ponies just outside the forest." "And names, well, I have been called by many names, Scar, Traveler, or simply Nameless"  

"I myself am pony too, but as you can see, I am not like others." "My body is metal, but I am not a machine, I am a living being" "And I am called TC-308" TC-308 now looked at the creature from little closer. "What about you?" "What, and who are you?"

The creature started at the ground for a minute.

"It seems there is still hope. My name is Jack Gonriel and I am from a subspecies called the Eldritch."

He sighed

"It seems you 2 or anybody on this planet know what's going outside for the stars, and perhaps that is for the best..."

"When I crash landed here I expected another dead world, but everything here is all filled with life. I do not really know how to respond to all this, seeing as I haven't really met any other species that we were not aware of."

"It might be best if we head to nearest civilisation, I need to speak to the leader of your planet, or anything closely related to that, all this life may not remain for a very long time."

 

[Catpone Cerberus 23,615]

Nameless looked thoughtful. "Outside the planet..." He muttered to himself.

TC-308 seemed to ignore the part about the stars, "Nice to meet you then."
"Leader of the planet? I do not think we have that, but Princesses are the leaders of Equestria, they are at Canterlot, that is over a day from here." "But I am sure they have sent either the royal guard or the bearers of Elements of Harmony to investigate the crash." "Or even Discord, but probably not him."

Jack thought for a moment before he finally responded.

"If they are sending someone, that it might be best if we send out a signal of our location, I rather not lead them to my ship, or at least not WITHOUT me"

"I can create the signal, but I, unfortunately, can't walk, the bone in my right feet is fractured. Could one of you please help me? I rather not spend to much time right now staying here."

[Catpone Cerberus 23,615]

"Send signal?" "You mean like letter or something?" Nameless looked confused.
"I could fly to the Canterlot to tell them about this" "I would be there in a little less than day." TC-308 suggested, but Nameless looked at him little confused, since TC didn't have wings. He turned back towards Jack "So, how do we create this...signal?"

"I can shoot a magical spell in the air, creating an effect that should be able to spot from miles, if anything is looking for the wreckage right now

then they will no doubt go to anything suspicious looking, that will be our best bet."

"If you can position me outside the cave, I can create the signal, and then all we have to is wait."

Jack then looked at them

"I can't think of any other good plan, i don't know anything of this planet except for the things you guys have told me so far, you 2 up for it this?"

 

[Catpone Cerberus 23,615]

"Oh, that kind of signal, sure, I guess that's aright" Both of them lit their horns, and they levitated Jack with the ground layer under him outside the cave, under the thick forest roof. "Aright, we are here, do your thing"  

From TC-308's sides came out metal wings with three metal parts and some kind of purple energy between them. "I am going to visit Ponyville quick, you two need anything to eat?" Nameless shook his head, looking little surprised, TC then looked at Jack "You?"

Jack looked at TC Surprised.

"I don't know if i am really hungry, i haven eaten in 3 y- Nevermind, actually i might have a good idea, could you scout for us and see if that supposed group will be heading out way? I need to be sure"

Jack then shot the spell into the creating a bright flare like light in the air.

"There we go" he said

[Catpone Cerberus 23,615]

TC-308 shrugged "Aright, I check if Bearers of elements has been sent, for royal guard I would have to go to Canterlot to check." He then took off.

"We are better to get back in the cave, Timberwolfs might get interested of that light too" Nameless started slowly moving Jack back in. "What do you mean you haven't eaten in 3 years?"

"I was imprisoned in a terrible place before I crashed landed here, at that place things where out of place... Our bodies reacted and in a way that

shouldn't have been possible, for one we didn't age, had no thirst or hunger, and not even the need for sleep... I don't know if it for sure but from what I think the law of physics just didn't work the same way there, it's really hard to explain. I have been there imprisoned for 3 years before I managed to escape but at a very great cost."

"You might have been able to tell from these chains that I have been somewhere, but sadly these chains do more than bind people, they have something embedded into them, doing things that are just wrong... I am glad to see that there is still live out here, I really am."

He then looked in the eyes "This may be a weird thing to say right now, but family and friends are important, make sure you don't lose em, ever."

Nameless had surprisingly little reaction, just a slight surprise in his eyes "No aging or needs, sounds like banishment to Tartarus" "And cursed chains to add to that" "Sounds tough" "Good that there is something you can be glad about." Nameless gave a short laugh. "heh, family and friends, little late for that."

Jack expression had a sorrowful expression.

"I am sorry to hear about your family and friends, I know from experience what you mean, it's not an easy thing to go trough.."

"But honestly, I have nothing to be glad about this point, I am glad for others, for all of you. I feel a sort of happiness to know that there I still a planet around that has such peace, such life... But I don't deserve that luxury when I escaped I was certain I was going to die no matter what, but here I am still alive."

"When I know for certain this planet will survive, I can finally let everything go without a sorrow, have a  chance to see those dear to me again. I hope.. where ever it will bring me"

"It's not like that really, I left them behind by my own choice." Nameless explained with neutral voice. "And peace? heh, there is monsters and other threads now and then, Spirit of chaos that wanted to rule, Princess that wanted to bring eternal night, army of bugs that feed on love, list goes on, it's not really that peaceful here." "I'm really sorry to hear your situation, but what's this thing you keep talking about?" "Survive what? What is such big thread?"

"Yeah, I guess you have a point there, peace doesn't truly exist anywhere.."

Jack closed his eyes for a second.

"Out there, in the stars, horrible things are going on. There used to lots of planet like this one, but current events have erased them like they never existed."

"My kind originates from a single being when that being died it gave birth to 3 new races, each split into individual parts of the entity itself.

But among the 3 there was 1 that didn't have it good as the others, a massive civil war erupted on their planet. But things took a turn that brought everyone screams in terror.

A person who was back then killed has now come back... while his body is gone, his spirit still exist, and given his alliance to a terrifying being, he was able to enter back to the living as a spirit, but when he overtook someone's physical body, things just.... We all knew what was going to happen, he used to be a mortal just like us, but now he possesses power that shouldn't be physically possible, every single being that tried to stop him has failed. But it was not his own powers that really brought everything down.

With his return he also brought some sort virus, it spread at a rate that I can't even begin to explain, but everybody who became infected started changing into a mindless beast, losing every bit of sanity and sentience, they all became part of his so called *hive mind*."

"Of course to most, this would sound rather easy to defeat, but that is far from the case. At this point his entire empire contains as many followers as the stars themselves, how can anybody defeat?"

"But to everyone's horror, he started a terror campaign throughout the galaxy, cleansing entire sectors of life. Mutating all survivors into mindless twisted creatures...

And all that now remains is a broken and shattered galaxy, those who are still alive are only waiting for the inevitable. But there are also those who try to resist and build a future for ourselves, a friend of mine told me to believe he had a chance to live if we built that future, but if I think back of it, it seems so unlikely.."

"I just hope tha-"

Outside talking could be heard, Jack became deadly silent as he tried to overhear the talking.

Nameless had in this point taken out what looked like notebook and wrote down things as Jack explained, he didn't want to interrupt Jack so he didn't say anything. When Jack got suddenly quiet, Nameless pricked up his ears, listening for the noises that came from outside.

Jack looked at Nameless and talked to him with a whisper.

"I do not know who it is outside, but somebody is there, and I don't know how many, if you are gonna check it out, hide first. If it is friendly it might be to show yourself but really watch out."

"If things get dangerous il try to help but I won't be much help for you right now, could you please check it out? It could be the ponies we have been expecting, I hope.."
