ManaMinori 4,145 May 16, 2017 Share May 16, 2017 (edited) i need help, you guys. I'm quite happy with my MLP hoarde- I have more than I ever imagined, in fact. But I feel bad about investing so much money into collecting it all. There's new pieces of merchandise coming out- namely, this (EQG Mini Movie Collection Doll Set) (that I only really want fo r Sunset Shimmer, DJ Pon3, and Pinkie) https://www.equestriadaily.com/2017/04/new-equestria-girls-mini-sets-appear-on.html#more and this Vinyl and Pinnkie Pie brushable ponies with decal. http://sayastarr.tumblr.com/post/160659930727/mlp-merch-the-mlp-all-aboutdecal-pinkie-pie I'm screwed. Wallet is low of splurging funds (I promised myself I wanted to buy a Nintendo Switch, than any more ponies), and I'm also short on display space. I don't know what to do, you guys. I have a feeling I'm going to dip into the Nintendo Switch fund, when these come out, because I have no self control, and have thus far swore to only get my favorite ponies (Vinyl, Pinkie, and Sunset) but no sooner than I do, Hasbro does this- and in the new, ugly G4.5 style, to boot!!!! I swore I'd never get those horrid, noodle ponies!. Johnny1226 14,674 May 16, 2017 Share May 16, 2017 I myself only get practical merch like well made plushies, clothes, and posters the first two can be used unlike figures which can only be displayed the posters take up less space and can be stored away, just keep saving up for better stuff in the future at least tell yourself that's what you're doing while you're building up your funds for future splurges

I know they're more practical, but they also get worn out more quickly, too. also, hard to save for splurging, when my 3 favorite characters are getting more merch..... Daring_Do 552 May 22, 2017 Share May 22, 2017 Get the Nintendo Switch. All you can do with merch is display it; the console will give you much more entertainment. The merch can wait a little longer.

Powderpuff 390 May 29, 2017 Share May 29, 2017 If your funds are low and you think you would have more fun with the Nintendo Switch than five pony toys, then you should probably pass on them. You mentioned you're content with your collection. Do you feel like you've reached the point where buying the newest merch is a compulsion to you? If so, you should probably take a step back and re-evaluate. That may mean no longer following new merchandise news, and ignoring sites that often post about them.
