Say I got my dad the movie he beg me to get but knowing him he won't even touch it becase of his sports obsesion! LOL! Anyway instead of just returning it to the library I want to ask, is Water for Elephants worth a watch?

I wouldn't spend the time watching it,

hate movies like that and Robert Pattison... I couldn't give money to a movie that would cast that no-talent.

What's it about anyway

I absolutely adored that movie. Mainly because Christoph Waltz is in it, but his performance was amazing as usual, and Robert Pattinson's wasn't spectacular, but he really shows that he can play decent roles. I really hope he isn't know as "the Twilight guy" for the rest of his career because he has a lot of potential and you can see it in this movie.

I think you should watch it too.

I don't think the movie is to die for to watch, but since I went on a cruise ship once and they kept playing that movie, over and over, it was kinda interesting to watch the plot unfold.

It's almost like your average love story in a circus theme, you have the hero, the damsel in distress, an abusive ringleader (who is the damsel's husband), and a giant elephant who understnads German (and who the hero takes care of).

But I'm not explaining it too well.

I suggest you look up what it's about, see if you still want to watch it, and if ya do watch it. Enjoy.~
