"Yeah, you did very good, that was a really great surprise Fluttershy." he said with a smile.

"Although I don't know for how long I have slept, everything just went by really fast. But if the infected are gone right now.. we should definitely move, where are the others?" he asked.

"You've slept for about 13 hours but I don't know how time works on this planet." Fluttershy said "They're ahead a bit We'll have to hurry to catch up. They went ahead to make sure it was safe." Fluttershy seemed very happy now, She was shining practically with happiness. "Let's go!"

"Hold on, they all went ahead? That.. doesn't very safe for us either, because those infected creatures might still lurk around a particular spot that we come past by. But heck, at this moment I am not going to complain further, we gotta go." Jack said as he walked outside.

Fluttershy, who had her axe for defense reasons, ran after Jack "It's ok Jack they're close."

Jack stepped outside and saw the others not far away but still a walk from him. Fluttershy dashed by Jack running to catch up with them motioning for him to follow quickly.

Jack followed her quickly, as the group was walking.

"I was thinking, we should take that tunnel now, last time me, Festus and Ember cleared out most of it, its going to be a whole lot safer than trying to cross the city via the normal way, as we will be avoiding alot more enemies." Jack suggested.

Celestia nodded agreement. "That's where we were going! Ember said you and Festus did a wonderful Job of clearing it out, Festus flew ahead to scout and make sure it was safe from here to the tunnel."

"It is." Festus said, very pleased "Flying is so helpful! Let's hurry before the infected comeback."

Woody and Windphaser had walked long ways they had been through quite a lot already and they weren't even close.

"We... Can't make it..." Woody said paw up to his left eye. "But... We have to try... going back to Equestria is out of the question it's too far now and we've done too much."

"Had you followed your training that battle you just fought would have gone a lot better Woodland." Wind said, "What you did was reckless and irresponsible, Come on now we've got a lot of walking to do."

As they were walking, things seemed good, like Festus had mentioned, the tunnel was safe.

After 35 minutes of walking they were nearing the end of the tunnel but suddenly alot of different sounds could be heard outside from there.

It sounded like a war zone, lots of gunshots could be heard, as well as the sounds of flying dropships, but some of it was overshadowed by the sound of roaring from an insect-like beast, that was making the ground shake a bit.

"I knew it was not going to be that easy..." Jack muttered, realizing they had yet to face another obstacle.

Festus grinned "To battle!" He shouted gloriously he ran outside and vaulted up his sword hovering in the air examining the field.

Ember ran after him "Kid! That's a Terrible Idea!" 

Celestia and Fluttershy was startled by that choice to Celestia running to catch up with them but Fluttershy saying by Jack

Woody kept walking after a few minutes, his mane now covering his left eye, "I did what I felt had to be done." He said after another few minutes of walking

"Well look at yourself now..." Wind said. "We'll make it, as long as you keep yourself calm, sing or something... makes no difference to me."

Jack cursed a bit under his breath.

"Sorry Fluttershy, but if they are going to rush to battle like that they are going to need my help! But if you don't feel like fighting then don't, nobody is going to think less of you!" Jack said as he started to follow them.

 

It was a pretty big warzone. There were lots of enemy soldiers fighting some sort of massive creature, it also had golden eyes, and it was around the same size as that massive scorpion in Equestria, but it had the more the resemblance of a spider rather than a scorpion.

It started to shoot a massive amount of toxic straight at its enemies.

Jack stared at it with concern.

'Something is not right here... I have never seen those infected soldiers fighting among infected creatures... How is this possible?' he thought

"Ok this doesn't look good." Jack admitted.

At one moment the massive creature slammed one its legs straight at a building, it caused lots of rubble to fall near the group. But the battle was still going on heavily as more and more dropships arrived, dropping near soldiers who started firing at both their enemies.

Festus, worried that the spider saw him and dropped to the ground. "Jack I think I know what made those things..." He said not knowing the term for cocoons.

"Wait... who's that 3rd group," Ember said.

Celestia levitated the rubble and held it above the group keeping it from falling on them moving it out of the way before dropping it, Fluttershy ran past Jack and Festus, running straight at the Giant Spider. "What's she doing?!" Celestia said loudly. "Fluttershy!"

The 3rd group is our actual enemy, but for some reason... they are attacking a creature that should be on their side, it defies all logic that I know about their physic link, perhaps it went further than its feral state? Who knows.." Jack said, looking at the spectacle.

He, however, frowned deeply when she saw Fluttershy charging the creature.

'And there she goes, I hope she does have at least a plan instead of charging it while all these enemies are literally around. Normally I would say she is not thinking clearly when charging straight ahead against that thing, but I have made that mistake multiple times too, so I am not one to talk.' Jack thought.

He then looked around and saw something that peaked his interest when he saw some things shooting from away.

'Speaking of a plan, i have one now, but if Fluttershy is going to charge now then I have no reason to stay here in any case, i don't want her to get wounded, but if she ends up getting like that, then I at least rather know that I tried preventing it instead of sitting around.' Jack thought.

Without saying anything he started sprinting straight past the others as he running like crazy as he was advancing from cover to cover to avoid enemy fire.

Fluttershy kept running at the Giant Spider, She had a plan but had to wait for the spider to do something first. Then she would act upon the plan. It was apparent that the spider wasn't fully under the control of the psychic link.

Festus 'flew' after Jack holding his shield firmly acting as moving cover for Jack "I've got you shielded keep going!"

Ember actually flew into the crowd of shooters she took out one with a javelin and took his gun quickly before anyone had time to react.

"Thanks!" He called out to Festus as they were moving further and further.

The big creature itself roared in pain as one of the dropships started firing a barrage of missiles straight at it, but after firing about 3 missiles, the creature lashed out with all its weight against the dropship, since the vehicle itself had been hovering pretty close above the ground, it went into a rotating spin, sending the rest of the missiles in all directions as the dropship crashed straight into a building.

Fluttershy jumped onto the large creature landing gently on it's back "It's ok... Calm down... little creature. Something must be causing you a lot of distress. Something else tells me that, it's not those bullets either." She was speaking kindly and sofly by the spider's head so she could be heard.

Festus saw the airship go down "Fluttershy's fighting that alone! We need to help her Jack!" He started heading at the giant creature.

"You get aid her via that, I am going to help Fluttershy by a different method, which was my plan in the first place, just make sure that creature does not kill her!" Jack called back as he kept running.

He had a pretty simple plan, take out those rocket launcher users and use their own weapons against that creature, since this would most likely be the best method to damage the creature fast.

The creature roared as it tried to swat Fluttershy of its back.

While it was Feral, it still was part of a conversion process, and the truth behind the virus and these centers were more disturbing than most could imagine, for only 2 people were aware of this.

It did not know what Fluttershy was trying to say.

"Celestia, come out here, they need your help!" Jack called out to her.

"I.. it's ok... please calm down." After a bit of dodging Fluttershy realized there was no reasoning that could be done. "Please forgive me." She said quietly, She swung the axe into the spider's neck, driving it as far as her build would let her.

Celestia had heard Jack and saw Ember alone shooting the guards from before and flew over to help her by disarming guards and shooting magic at many of them.

Festus was trying to draw attention to himself rather than Fluttershy breathing a bit of fire in places to confuse the creature

Jack had reached the building where 5 enemies were present, 2 of them shooting with rocket launchers at their enemies.

'5 of them, and I am only armed with a pistol and a knife, I guess I should just risk it, no backing out from this.' Jack thought.

As he sneaked closer, he took a position.

Jack then shot one of the enemies straight through the head, while a other one got hit in the leg.

the 3rd one starts firing at him, from which he quickly went back to his earlier position.

 

The big creature started to go crazy as it was getting furious while Fluttershy had attacked its neck and Festus was also doing some fire attacks.

After a few moments, the creature decided it had enough as it jumped straight to head into a building, but it impacted with its back, which was less painful as it was the most protected part of its body.

Tough after that the creature started spewing its venom straight at the enemy soldiers again, most of the weaponry just didn't seem to penetrate much of its hide, only taking some damage, but it was not enough to get close to dealing the death blow as it currently was.

Fluttershy was still on the creature's back when it landed, back first onto the building She fell to the ground behind the creature after it got back up. She stood strong noticing that the creature wasn't attacking her anymore she sighed, relieved and sat down calming down.

Festus tried to get close but couldn't because of all the venom, he noticed that he was inside a building fighting, Festus flew into the building through the window one of the guards was shooting out and took down the guard shooting Jack then took out the other 2 that were still standing with a side spin. "Jack we have a problem!" He exclaimed.

"I know, our current weapons won't do major damage against that thing, which is the reason why I decided to attack this particular spot, you know why? They have rocket launchers, these things are mostly meant to take down vehicles, but will do major damage to that creature." Jack said as he picked up the rocket launcher and aimed.

He then fired, the rocket slamming straight into the creatures back, and it exploded.

The creature roared in agony as the rocket has created a wound in its back, it was still not very big, but it the did do good damage.

But the creature then turned around and noticed Jack, looking from where the rocket trail had come from.

The building and attacked with one of its legs, destroying most of the upper body, and slamming straight against Jack and Festus.

But Jack had held onto the leg and was now dangling on it.

The creature was holding Jack above its mouth, trying to throw him straight into it.

But Jack was holding on it for dear life, and so the creature started to fire a breath of toxic straight at Jack.

'Damn it, forget the no magic rule now, its now or never!' He thought as he let go of the leg, and used the falling momentum to fire an electric burst straight at the venom, while it did not hold it back, it rather sends it back into its mouth, it sadly did not had the effect that Jack had hoped for, he had expected some sort of chain reactions when the 2 attacks would collide, but all it did was pushing the toxic back, wich was very bad news for him.

Just before the creature attacked Fetus shouted: "Fluttershy's over there!"

Jack was losing and fast to the creature Fluttershy flew over and knocked Jack away dodging the acid while moving down to catch him after catching him she looked him in the eyes "You ok? That looked really scary" There was a bit of a burn on Fluttershy left hoof but other than that the rocket hadn't had got her too bad.

Festus flew and caught the rocket launcher Jack had dropped it seemed to be still loaded so he Fired another Rocket at the beast.

"Y-yeah, I think I am fine." He said, still a bit tense from his desperate counter-attack a few moments ago.

The rocket that Festus had fired exploded into the creature, damaging into once again, it was starting to get critical damage at this.

Jack suddenly got an idea, hoping to keep it safe and prevent the 3 of them from getting targeted by the creature again.

"Celestia, fire a strong magical spell at the creatures wound, now is your chance!" He shouted, knowing that this would the final blow to kill the monster.

Celestia nodded and looked the sun was just above the creature, she lined herself up with it via teleportation and poured all her energy into on massive beam which upon contact with the creature exploded. 

The force of it was felt by Fluttershy Jack and Festus all of which were in the air. Even Ember felt that and she was a good ways away. 

Fluttershy looked in amazement "Well she got stronger!" She said chucking.

"We'll il be damned.." Jack said with amazement, not expecting it to be this strong.

The creature had evaporated almost completely as the burn had spread from the inside out thanks to the wounds that it had suffered, which means it was finally dead.

The remaining enemy soldiers were suddenly gunned down by the sounds of gunshots and some sort of fast paws running over the terrain.

5 warriors riding on tigers that resembled alot like the ancient Sabretooth tiger.

They were all armed very well and were also wearing bandoliers.

They started running around the area, but stopped in the middle, as they eyed everyone with caution.

"Everyone quickly! To me!" Celestia shouted Ember Festus and Fluttershy all got close to her and Celestia put up a weak barrier.

"Ok... Who are they? Jack? Are they friendly?" Fluttershy was worried again "Are they going to capture us again?" She looked like she couldn't take bad new at this point and she hoped for the best.

Jack approached them carefully.

"Friendly?" Jack asked the warriors, carefully reading their facial expressions.

The warriors gave each other a quick glance before one of them spoke up.

"Yes, we would think the same from a lone Eldritch boy wandering these ruins, but i am not sure on what side they are, they don't seem to like our arrival." the warrior said with a mention to Celestia and the others.

"It... It is a safety precaution! They are friendly, they mean no harm to you!" Jack said quickly, a bit sweating at the situation.

The warrior glanced at the group but bore no specific expression, just an expression of mild interest.

"Are these claims true?" The warrior asked Celestia in particular, presuming she would the leader of the group.
