I know this game has been out for awhile on PC, but it recently came out on the PS4 and Xbox One about two weeks ago. Initially, I wasn't sure what to make of the game. I had seen some video of the game and read some of the reviews on it. From what I have seen of the reviews, it's not a very highly rated game. So, my friend bought it and he would not stop bugging me about when I was going to be getting it. I finally cave and end up buying the game and I have to say I think it's a pretty fun game.

If you live under a rock and have not heard of this game, the basic idea is one player plays as the killer and the other four player play as the survivors. The goal of the killer is to kill the survivors before they can escape. The goal of the survivors is to restart 5 generators in order to open the escape door in order to well...escape. Alternately, if there is only one survivor left they can escape through an escape hatch that is located somewhere on the map.

I love the concept behind the game as I think it is a lot of fun and games can be pretty intense(seriously though...my heart) for the survivors depending on how good the person playing the killer is. Is this game perfect? No, it isn't. From a technical standpoint, the graphics are not great and neither are some of the animations. Also, there is technically only one game mode. Still, this game is surprisingly addictive to play. I personally would recommend this game to people who are looking to play something different or who love horror movies.
