[Doctor Whooves™ 332]

As he entered, he saw the brown stallion snoring loudly.

He raised an eyebrow, untill the pony was suddenly enveloped in green flames, and turned into a pink mare with a bubbly mane, making Cloud Dreamer jump.

He remained on his toes-- Hooves, whatever, and started breathing again after a few seconds.

But it happened again, scaring him and the pony turned into a zebra, a green pegasus he recognized as Ivy and several other forms, until he finally turned to Agoun and woke up.

The changeling stretched and made a clicking noise, probably a yawn to him, before looking around the room and spotting Cloud Dreamer, surprised.

"Where's the Doctor?"

He asked curious.

The brown stallion sat in the TARDIS control room, pressing multiple buttons and pulling levers, looking intently at the screen every now and then.

"Come ON!"

He excalimed,

"I WILL find you! I HAVE to find you!!"

He didn't realize he was screaming in desperation and punched a red button.

He widened his eyes.

"Oh, bugge--"

The TARDIS crashed, explosions setting off in various spots on it's inside, sparks and flames devouring it's engine as the Doctor rolled about, trying to mantain balance.

"Come on, come ON!! I don't even know what that button does!!"

He managed the controls on the consol at outstanding speed, making one wonder if he even knew what he was doing.

Of course, he didn't.

A sudden flash of light caught his attention and he turned around but was blinded by a second flash and he shouted something in gallifreyan wich sounded a lot like a curse.

He sat there, covering his eyes with his foreleg, and took it off only when the light started to die out, taking the form of a mare.

A unicorn, to be exact.

The Doctor frowned.

"What."

The light finally died out, and in front of him stood a purple unicorn with a blue-ish mane, a single purple and pink streak running through it. Her horn was still glowing.

"What."

The Doctor repeated.

This caught the mare's attention and tears flowed from her eyes.

"Doctor!"

She shouted.

"WHAT."

She jumped-hugged him, making him lose his balance and forcing him to give in to the mare's hug.

"WHAT??"

Right that moment the others walked in, panicked by the TARDIS' crash.

"WHAT!?!"

"Doctor we have a proble-" Prince stood there, his serious face gone and him looking in disbelief. "What" he said raising an eyebrow. "Doctor, TARDIS has crashed and you were in here with this mare?!" he turned to Ivy then turned back to the Doctor. "Celestia I'm no better but I didn't get caught." he thought. "Doctor, What happened here?"

The Doctor looked at him desperately for help.

"I don't know!!"

He pushed Twilight away, much to her dislike.

"You're supposed to be dead!"

Pencil gasped, but the Doctor dismissed him with a hoof.

"You were killed by the changelings!! Agoun himself gave the order!!"

Agoun approached the scene, more to seek protection from the Doctor against the other's rage rather than anything else.

Twilight looked at the changeling, confused.

"But... He's the one who helped me escape!"

The Doctor turned to the changeling in disbelief, who was now backing away in a corner, being attacked on all fronts.

"What did I tell you Agoun?!"

The Doctor approached him, angrily.

"Not... Not to free them...?"

"Not to free them WHY?"

"... Because it... it was...."

He frowned, obviously having forgotten the reason.

"Because,"

The Doctor said for him, gritting his teeth,

"It was a fixed point in time! You can't change it!!"

The TARDIS moaned, and the lights flickered.

The Doctor had a worried expression.

He grabbed the unicorn by the shoulders.

"Twilight, listen carefully."

He said with a carefully placed tone. He knew he could get her to do anything with that voice.

"How did you get here?"

Twilight struggled to remember.

"I... I used... a spell."

She closed her eyes in concentration, massaging her temples.

"Agoun freed us... we were in the Ponyville library... no... The Canterlot library... I... I looked for the StarSwirled the bearded section.... I looked... I looked for a Massive Teleportation spell... and then... I found... I found..."

Her eyes shot open with realazation.

"I found your diary!"

The Doctor was confused.

"What?"

"Yes. YES!! You left Star Swirled your travel diary last time you saw him, and when I pulled it out, a door opened and there was a scroll!"

The Doctor kept staring intently at her.

"A scroll."

"Yeah! A spell to find you! A spell to find the TARDIS!"

The Doctor rubbed his chin.

"That crafty old bugger..."

He muttered.

"I saw... I saw the girls all dissapear before me, and a moment after that, I was here!"

The Doctor sighed.

"Twilight..."

"Oh! Does this mean they're all here too?"

"Twilight."

"Have you defeated the changelings yet? You did, didn't you? I knew you'd save us!!"

"TWILIGHT!!"

She fell silent.

"You're friends aren't here... You're... You're ten years in the future of Equestria... The changelings took over... I didn't defeat them simply... Simply because I wasn't there to fight them."

She stared at him, then looked around the room for support, but she already knew it was true, even without looking at their saddened faces.

The Doctor jumped to his hooves.

"Right."

He said,

"Okay, so we now know the elements are still alive, that they might appear near our location at random times and that Agoun's course of action caused a ripple in the Time Vortex wich will probably kill us all if we don't free Equestria and repair this in a few hours. So I'd say, let's get to work!"

He ran for the TARDIS console,, and pulled a lever.

"Allons-y!!"

The blue box made a grinding noise, and they appeared in the middle of Manehattan.

"This is why I'm not a timelord, because I don't understand anything that just transpired." said prince. "So we have a few hours to overthrow the empire or we're all dead. So these time raced adventures still exist." prince took a stance and started charging his horn, he looked at twilight confused at her presence then turned back to the front. "I'm fully charged Doctor, Call it!"

All Pencil could do at this point in time was stand still and stare at Twilight in disbelief.

 

He had been worried over her safety for the past... however many years; he had reached the point where he thought she was dead. He was neither happy nor sad, but either way he felt like crying.

All he could do for now... or at least all he could think of, is just stand there and pretend he has no idea who she is. But judging by the amount he's trembling, that's going to be a hard task...

Cloud Dreamer stared. It was the first time he could remember being struck dumb since... forever? Well, anyways, he recovered quickly. "So, umm... Twilight... Doctor... Um... I'll just... I'll just go kill the sentries and all of that while you socialize. Have fun, don't eat bananas, and don't kill each other. Hehehe.... come on, Pencil, Toonz." He left, preparing his dark power.

Ivy put a hoof to her head and rubbed it. "Do you have to hit that red button" she said. It was odd she heard a female screaming in her head when he hit it. She looked up and saw a purple mare. She rubbed her eyes and looked over at Prince when he said. She laughed "good thing you didn't" She trotted towards Prince. She then sat down looking at all the ponies reaction.

Draw had been late again. He came in several seconds before the Doctor summarized what was going on. "I'm no good at timed trials." He mumbled, remembering the timed quizzes he used to take in school. He was astonished to see Twilight there, and wondered vaguely if she remembered him. He hesitated slightly before following Cloud, still feeling a bit nervous about what was going to transpire.

Peeps confusedly looked around at the commotion in the TARDIS console room. "What?" She was happy to see the excited reunion, but less excited that it had caught the Doctor off guard. "Are we ready for this? How much improvisation can we really depend on?" Peeps settled uneasily into place among the crowd of ponies.

At the foundations of the base, Cloud told Toonz and Pencil, "Listen. When we draw the guards, if you value your life, stay behind me.

Or else you will get chopped into tiny pieces. OK?" Without waiting for an answer, he took out his guitar and, with a riff, blasted a hole through the wall, right into one of the smaller hallways. He started going in, then said, "You guys coming, or what?"

Pencil was still a little out of it. He was aware of where he was, and what was going on, but he seemed un-responsive.

He tried to talk to Cloud, but all that came out was a mumble:

"She's alive... She's alive..."

"Yep, she's alive. We all know. I'll have to examine her after this. You know, to make sure she's not a changeling and, if she isn't, to clear her mind. Who knows what darkness could have settled in her mind. So, for the last time- are you coming or not?" Cloud said, grumbling.

Mustering up some bravado, Draw said, "Yeah, let's do this."

Pencil considered training, but the thought quickly vanished from his head. He had been training for war against Equestria's most dangerous every day for the past 20 or so years, how would a few more hours make a difference?

He walked away from his regiment in an admittedly rude manor and headed to the elevator; it didn't take a genius to figure out what he was planning

 

As he walked into the elevator's door way, he uttered his command:

"Take me to the primary control room"

 

In a whiz, he appeared in the control panels primary spawn point. He saw Twilight, she was sitting all by herself, most likely waiting for the Doctor to do 'something brilliant'... "Perfect" Pencil thought to himself.

He approached Twilight, nervous, but still not showing much of any emotion

"He - Hello..."

The Doctor quickly ran out of the TARDIS, dragging along Prince with him.

"Twilight, please stay with the TARDIS! You'd be recognized on the spot!"

The unicorn grumped in annoyance, and sat on the floor.

She turned startled at the approaching Pencil.

"H-hi... don't I know oyu from somewhere?"

She moved closer to him, clearly making him even more nervous.

The Doctor dragged Prince outside, heading for the main street.

"Righty-oh, first off, let's get you a new look, so you won't be recognized as an alicorn."

He headed for a small shop and entered.

The enviorment was of an exotic sort, the scent of incense filling the air, pearly drapes hanging around and various artifacts from around the globe stashed here and there.

An old pony with a mandarin suit turned to greet them.

"Herro, and wercome."

He said with a smile.

The Doctor rolled his eyes.

"It's me. The Doctor. Drop the act."

The pony looked at him in annoyance and changed his form.

Now before them stood a tall, snake-like figure, with various mismathced body parts and a smirk on it's face.

"Hello, Discord."

"Hello, Doctor."

Cloud stepped through the hole and looked around. "OK. Pencil? Do me a favor and see if there are any guards in the next few rooms. Like, until we get to the power core. And please don't get caught. OK?"

Prince stepped back a few paces, he lowered his head and started charging his horn once more. He slowly spread out his wings and his face became of extreme comtemption. "What business do we have with him doctor." said Pronce almost growling.

Peeps edged her way awkwardly around the scene unfolding in the TARDIS console room to make her way to Agoun's side. She cleared her throat and shuffled her hooves in a bashful manner as she sidled up to him, "Hey Agoun? Um... Can I call you that? Do you prefer Sweets? I really don't know." Peeps swallowed her words and made a noise that lived up to her name as she realized she was hopelessly rambling. She tried to collect herself but being in the presence of the changeling made her feel nostalgic, and sick all at once. "Uh, anyway, I was busy with an experiment and I missed the run down. What do we do? What's the plan?" She hoped that she wasn't completely helpless at this point and anticipated his answer eagerly.

Twilight moved closer, Pencil began to blush slightly. It was barely noticeable under his freckles and acne, but still; he was clearly in discomfort.

"... Y-Yes. My face appears on the fronts of the newspapers a lot these days, but we have meet in real life. I use to be a costumer at your old library..."

Pencil ended awkwardly. It was like his sentence wasn't finished, and he decided to stop talking anyway

Pencil said with a soft sigh

"... I was worried about you, it's been years since i last saw you, since this changeling war started... I-I thought you were... Ne-Never mind...

Peeps stepped up behind Cloud peering through the whole and tapped his shoulder, "Ummm, hey? Can I come with you? I'm so lost, I have no idea what we're doing. I got caught up in my experiments." She looked down in shame and sort of scuffled her hooves around bashfully, "I'm sorry I'll try to stay on top of things from here on out."

"Sure!" Cloud said. "Could you go scout ahead? If everything goes well, we'll have a new base of operations and plenty of info about Cadance... hopefully." He took out his claymore. "And... when I go into my rage, DON'T get in front of me. OK?"

Peeps shook nervously when he suggested that she go ahead but she swallowed her anxiety and straightened up confidently until Cloud pulled out his claymore. Peeps was not expecting the gigantic blade and gave a noise akin to her name and dove back behind the wall. She quickly pulled herself together and trotted forward into the decimated room. There were no guards in the main room, "Hmmm that seems... easy..." Peeps thought warily as she looked around for any changeling attackers. "There doesn't seem to be anyone Cloud... you can come see but the absence of attackers is really creeping me out."

Draw was about to say that Pencil wasn't with them at the moment when Peeps showed up. When Cloud suggested that she go ahead of them, Draw asked him on the side, "Is that such a good idea? She doesn't seem to be able to put up much of a fight." Cloud merely ignored the question though, as Peeps came back reporting an absence of Changelings. "I take it the base is abandoned, because surely an explosion caused by a guitar riff would probably alert most, if not all, those inside." Draw summarized.

"No. I doubt that. The only reason there was any sound is because you expected it. This base was abandoned in the first place because the heat system was messed up. Yes, funny, but I expect all of the guards are all in the lower levels. So... now..."

Cloud's eyes turned red, and he started to spin his claymore. Then he dove straight down. His claymore cut through the stone like butter. He stopped, and turned, facing signs that guards were recently there. His eyes returning to normal, he yelled, "Come on down! The water's fine! Hahaha..."

"I think the silly pegasus forgot we don't have wings, uh... I don't believe I caught your name. I'm Draw Toonz. What's your name?" said Draw.
