"i wish i knew where she was, this is the only thing i have left of her" striker said pointing to the bandana, "she put a magic spell on it so whoever wear's it will be healed automatically thats why i tied it around cloud. it did all it could to keep him alive, and it worked.

from this day i have been searching for lilly, and have sworn revenge against the pony who started this entire thing

Valiant walked to the crews quarters and went on top of his bunk. There he pulled his ol' cadet cap over his head and dozed off...

It was mid-day by the time Aelfric had finished loading his large amount of possessions into his uncomfortably small room, although much of that time was spent arguing with Kyros to get him a better mattress. He was surprised to see that the crew had fixed the deck up rather nicely, there were still a few burn spots in the deck but if he kept his head up he could ignore them without worrying about putting a hoof through the floor. Now his biggest problem was making sure not to bump into any of the unwashed crew scum that crawled the deck like ants. "Kyros," he shouted rudely when he spied the captain giving orders up by the wheel. "When are we taking off, I need to reach the Drackenridge as soon as possible!"

Kyros looked down, "I already told you, Dr. Stein. We'll be departing tomorrow morning." That reminded Kyros that he still hadn't gotten any ponies to get the planks for the walls around Alfric's bed. He walked into the crew's bunk room. He found Valiant on one of the beds sleeping. He gave Valiant a bit of a push to wake him up, "Valiant, I need you to go out and grab four 6X6 slabs of timber. Here's eighty bits, that should cover it." He dropped a bag with eighty bits in it beside Valiant and walked to the dinning area to enjoy some lunch.

striker was walking around the ship when he bumped in to valiant who was coming out of the crew corridor's "sorry valiant" striker then walked in to the crew corridor to see the captain, "hi captain, what's going on?"

Valiant nodded then saluted Kyros as he walked off to the supply store.

 

He found the store owner after finding the planks. "That will be eighty bits" He said, Valiant rolled his eyes, "70?", Valiant gave him a look that said 'Really?', "Alright 60 but no lower...", Valiant nodded in satisfaction as he purchased the supplies. On the way out the store owner's daughter was giggling at him, "Judith! Back to work!" said the store owner. The girl went back to sweeping but she winked at Valiant.

Ratchet sat in the kitchen lazily while Lemony prepared lunch, "so Lemony, have you met our new passenger? He's a really nice guy" he said sarcastically and sipped some lemonade.

Valiant finally arrived back at the ship. He had to lug a cart with all the supplies on it. It wasn't too hard but it did make him go alot slower but as he dropped the wood off outside the room he went to go give back Kyros twenty of the eighty bits....

Kyros found Valiant walk into the dinning area. Valiant placed the bits on the table. Kyros counted 20 bits, "Good job on keeping some of the money. Here." Kyros handed Valiant ten of the bits.

Valiant just shook his head and walked off to the crew's quarters.

striker saw valiant come in to the crew quarters, and decided to go say hi, "hi valiant how are you?"

Valiant just nodded and flew to the top bunk as he started to go back to dozing off....

It was morning and also the day the ship was going to take off. Valiant put on his cap and vest as he nudged Striker awake for long hard day of work they have a head of them...

"guess it's time to work..." striker said groggily as he woke up from his chair. "where are you going?" striker asked valiant

Valiant nodded his head to the boiler room, due to last night the strange engineer wouldn't get up this early. So Valiant had to get the ship ready for the day by shoveling in coal for awhile then clean the decks once more...

striker walked next to valiant, "are you sure we should be messing with the bolier? ratchet dosent like people touching his bolier"

The yellow unicorn shook her head. "Can't say that I have. Though, I did hear something about a rude professor boarding from a few younger recruits." She answered him while chopping tomatoes for hay sandwiches.

Lockhart woke up. He grunted and headed for the docks.

striker decided to leave valiant and go find the captain. >where could he be?< thought striker

"Yeah that would be him. Anyway thanks for the lemonade but I think Kyros plans on embarking soon, I should go warm up the engines. I just hope no one has been messing around in the boiler room" Ratchet said as he set the empty lemonade glass on the table and headed to the engine room.
