Decided to bring my OC Leon to life in the form of a custom toy, hand painted and molded hair using Sculpey. Im so bad with the mane and no tail yet, does any pony have advice on creating sculpey hair for pony's? Cast 238 May 22, 2012 Author Share May 22, 2012 Thank you so much , ya I got the colors of Sculpey I though would make up my character hair style and tried to mold his mane, his tail is proving a problem a lot of mass no way to hold it in place lol will figure it out though. First toy im not 100% sure what Im doing yet lol Woah. It is really great. Real good. Toys, figurines and plushies, the best I have seen yet, I would say. Good job on it very much. Java Jive 440 May 22, 2012 Share May 22, 2012 I'll say it again, for your first plushie ever, thats pretty darn amazing, and other details like his goggles and freckles will come in an updated pic later on i guess. That will be great practice, if you start doing more OC's at some point some will no doubt have smaller accessories/ details on them, from glasses to hoofboots, or even partial & total suits like the wonderbolts and ofcourse the cutie marks? To answer your question the stuffed toy is about half finished right now, his spotted coat has been an issue, I should have started with a one color coat pony, with that I started putting together Lightning Flicker first so I can get some more practice at it before stepping up to Leon, and I still don't know how Im going to do his goggles lol With the pony toy thats posted I started about 3 hours ago I had to start by cutting more Fluttershy's mane and tail off, it was so sad she was looking at me the inter time V_V, but hey now she has been turned into a new pony and a cute one at that! lol I'll say it again, for your first plushie ever, thats pretty darn amazing, and other details like his goggles and freckles will come in an updated pic later on i guess.
