grimchi3f 19 June 25, 2012 Share June 25, 2012 (edited) The pilot. That's right, I watched it in order, and I liked it from the first episode. Strange, isn't it? Edited June 25, 2012 by grimchi3f

Carolina 212 July 2, 2012 Share July 2, 2012 (edited) "Owl's Well that Ends Well" was actually the first episode I watched in full (plus, the last three minutes of "Feeling Pinkie Keen" which aired before it.) I loved My Little Pony when I was a kid (had all the toys, watched the movie a thousand times), but I had no idea that a new MLP show existed, so I was very surprised and excited to see it listed on the TV guide. I was kind of embarressed to actually watch it, though, since I am in my twenties (this, of course, was WAY before I knew about bronies). So, I flipped to the HUB channel, thinking, "What the heck, I'll just watch it for nostalgia purposes". The first thing I thought when I saw the animation was "WHAT IS THIS? This isn't My Little Pony! They look nothing like how they used to!" But I decided to watch the episode anyway and really enjoyed it. I now know that "Owl's Well" is largely considered one of the weakest episodes, but I thought it was a lot smarter and funnier (and less embarressing and/or babyish!) than I was expecting. The episode that got me hooked, however, was "Party of One." Upon seeing that episode, I realized that this show was really something special. Everything from the songs to the sight gags of Pinkie chasing Rainbow Dash around to the excuses the Mane Six came up with to get out of Pinkie's party to Spike's "confessions" to the surprisingly deep and dark mental breakdown Pinkie experienced was perfect! There were so many laugh-out-loud moments, but a psychologically disturbing and facinating undercurrent. That episode is still probably my favorite and Pinkie is my favorite character, perhaps because of that episode (well, that and the fact that she is awesome!) Abstract 832 July 2, 2012 Share July 2, 2012 Hearts and Hooves day was the episode that got me interested in the series, but it took Winter Wrap-Up to make me a brony for life. Sand Piper 12 July 2, 2012 Share July 2, 2012 I'd have to agree with Abstract it took Winter Wrap-Up to make me a brony for life. I mean that song, it just stuck in my head for the longest time. 1 ~The other mane 6, because you can never have enough ponies!~ NEVER!

I ended up using Audio Hijack and ripping that song to my iPod, the first of many haha. "Let the steel of my resolve be not bested by the sum of my fears."
