In A Health of Information, Fluttershy got Swamp Fever from being near Zecora when she was infected with it. How come Twilight wasn't infected being near Fluttershy (not that I want her to)?

From what the episode portrayed, Fluttershy was on the constant strive to find the cure that she weakened herself and thus made herself far more likely to be infected. Twilight kept herself rested and didn't worry all the time about it, though no one can blame Flutters for worrying so much, given the circumstances. Constant anxiety and lack of rest can have some rather draining effects on your body and immune system.

So, Twilight was being calm, thus, lessening the possibility of her getting sick?

Yes. Clinical studies have actually shown that sleep deprivation and stress correlate with immune system suppression and increased susceptibility to illness and infection.

Given the circumstance, the safest thing to do in Fluttershy's situation was to take a simple good night's rest to think of a plan to help Zecora. Sleep and rest are actually associated the most with repair and recovery of the body, and it helps improve cognitive function and helps with information retention and recollection.
