Then it was generation 3 and 3.5, and that dreaded Tales.... I cannot do this joke. I hate how the Bronies attacked the previous generation, just because it wasn't their beloved Lauren Faust show Real talk: generation means toyline. G1 was the first, and so on. Tales belongs to G1. G2 was a complete change in design, and the ponies looked more like horses. G3 went back, but to the normal MLP form factor, but with odd noses. And you already know what G4 looks like.
