Goodra 531 May 29, 2012 Share May 29, 2012 (edited) I love dub step music and want to know how to start making it. What do I need to start out with and how much will it cost? I already have experience as a musician (I play bass guitar in a band) and have great rhythm and knowledge of notes. ProjectRKA 2,848 May 29, 2012 Share May 29, 2012 (edited) You should start off by getting FL Studio 10. And then watch some tutorials on youtube. Another thing you'd need is to get some VSTi's to make your own sounds. The VSTi's can wait for later, actually. Sample packs are fine in the beginning. But once you get the hang of it, you should definitely get some VSTi's. Edited May 29, 2012 by ProjectRKA

Oh, I don't know...maybe you should just let the bass cannon kick it? 2 Swoop said: If something does happen to go horribly wrong, please, blame Zoop. DashPony 359 May 29, 2012 Share May 29, 2012 FL Studio, and a decent VST. Massive is what most people use, but Zebra 2.5 is very nice also. I tried to create dubstep, but failed miserably. It's not as easy as it sounds
Guest May 29, 2012 Share May 29, 2012 (edited) I personally don't have knowledge of programs you could use. I also don't have the authority to tell you guys to stay on topic -- but I'm doing it anyways! He's looking for help, not shiggles. Those come later. Hope you find something that sticks X3!
