A couple of days ago I noticed Chris Sabat and Monica Rial tweeting about this. 

It seems that John Swasey is in the hospital with a gluteal abscess. This has been putting Swasey out of his job for quite some time. Reading into what he has, Swasey HAS to be in a lot of pain. There is a Go Fund Me page “Save Swasey’s Butt” posted by Sabat, and the goal was met by Anime fans in less than a day. Swasey has been working with Funimation for many years, and is credited as the voice of a rather cheerful and sympathetic version of the Grim Reaper in Soul Eater, All For One from My Hero Academia, Premier Dhalis Zachary from Attack on Titan, the Elric brothers father Van Hohenheim from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Crocodile from One Piece. 

Swasey is 54 and has two children.

I hope he recovers as soon as possible. I made the mistake of googling it, since I had no idea what it was. OMG, it's horrifying. I wish him all the very best!
