The new guardians of Equestria

Once the mane 6 retire, who will be the new guardians of Equestria?

I think the Mane Six could still assist in defending Equestria. They will be rulers in Equestria, and just as Celestia and Luna stepped onto the battleground occasionally, so can the mane six.

Anyways, I think the student six are one option. Also, I think another option would be the mane six setting up an efficient and effective military in Equestria where there would be professionally trained soldiers with the capability of defending Equestria without the assistance of non-military support. A third option could be an alliance with the other nations outside of Equestria where warriors from those nations could be sent when Equestria requires aide, and when one of those nations requires aide the other nations would send it.
