Comula 4 October 20, 2019 Share October 20, 2019 I have mixed feelings about how the season has ended. I feel happy, sad, and somewhat unsatisfied all at the same time. My main criticism was that the last three episodes felt rushed, and this hasn’t been the first time I’ve had this feeling about MLP. The ending of season 8 also felt rushed. 1- In Epi 25, I thought how Twilight acted like a coward was sort of awkward when she was found given up all hopes in the Crystal Empire castle after fleeing Canterlot, especially after all the times she grown and matured throughout the series. I really thought that wimped-out Twilight was Chrysalis in disguised. 2- Also in 25, when the three villains were defeated, that was basically the end of them. I really wanted the scriptwriters to reform all three of them after defeat instead of turning them into stone. I could imagine Twilight giving her usual pep talk about how friendship is the answer to everything, and seeing all creatures of Equestria welcoming the villains with open arms. After all, they did seemed to grasp the concept of teamwork and trust when trying to obtain that bell object from the mountain. Turning them into good guys at the very end would’ve made the season so much more satisfying. 3- In Epi 26, seeing Twilight in Princess Celestia form with purple color is just plain weird. I mean, like really weird. The scriptwriter could’ve just made her into an aged version of Twilight just like the rest of her friends. This would be more realistic. 4- Also in 26, I have a few questions since this episode was so rushed. At the very end, did some characters get married and have children? Who? I think Pinkie did. Not sure about Sunburst and Starlight. Side note: Princess Cadance is the best pony ever!

Moved this there also modified the topic title to be more specific to the content

I really thought that wimped-out Twilight was Chrysalis in disguised. It wasn't because she was afraid, at least not as the Twilight she "thought" she was. Because of Discord, she now felt that nearly everything she had ever done was fabricated like a video game with the deck stacked in her favor. I'd be like becoming some big hotshot success and then finding out that your parents had used their influence orchestrate everything. Suddenly none of the victories are yours. You're the ultimate phony.
Comula 4 October 22, 2019 Author Share October 22, 2019 Ya but it was so predictable. Anyways, I feel like I have no purpose in life after the season ended. I feel empty.
