Are there english subtitles for the old generations?

Hello! I've been looking for original subtitles for all previous generations, but no result. I got an impression that they don't exist at all. I'd like to watch all the series, but I'm not English speaker (it's easier to watch with subs and maybe to translate them). Any ideas where I can find them?

Your best bet is to see if any of the YouTube versions have automated captions. I have the DVDs and know for a fact that the most they come with are singalongs
