he pulled out his wrist computer and typed something in, before a picture of his ship showed up and chuckled, "ha, EVA beat us here."

"Well, I guess we are gonna go look for jobs. My usual sourse is out, seeing as how im no longer his slave, so Im going to have to rely on some of my other sources."

he shok his head and came around behind her, "well, my assassinations usually rake in alot....depending on the target, and from what i gather, your shipping business rakes in quite a bit too." he smiled, "we could just be doing it for the excercise....though im guessing we shouldnt be flaunting it?"

"Mafia boss tricked me into a contract. When I had fulfilled the requirments, he refused to let me go free. So Luke and I killed him. This all happened just a few hours before we met you."

midnight chuckled, "ol farchik huh? thats who it was?" he looked up in thought "i was asked to assassinate him once before, but that kinda failed when i never got a good chance to fire, there was always some innocent in the way." he shook his head, "ultimately they sent another merc after him, and...it didnt end well."

he rested his head on her shoulder, "i COULD have done it, but as i said, it ment shooting an innocent life, so ultimately i never pulled the trigger."

he frowned and pulled up the various news sites on his personal computer, till he found what he was looking for "serieal killer found dead in slums, killer unknown, but believed to be professional hit, S-SEC says thank the gods."

midnight chuckled, "i swear these headlines keep getting funnier."

*She said. She stood up right as a large man jumped out of the shadows. Miyst grabbed his arm and flipped him over her shoulder, slamming him on the table.*

he looked in the corner as two men stood up, he frowned and pulled his pistol before they could, hitting both of their legs with one shot, they cried out in pain.

midnight looked at them raising and eyebrow, "oh quit whining, it went straight through, youll be fine in a month or so."

he looked over at miyst and nodded, "lets just get out of here, we can go somewhere else."

midnight smiled, and took her hand without thinking and lead her down to a fancier part of the dining district, he walked up to the entrance and saw his friend, "ahh, midnight, its been awhile hasn't it?"

midnight nodded, "yes it has Jake, were looking for breakfast for two?"

Jake looked over at miyst then smiled, "of course, this way." he led them to a table near one of the windows looking out over the rest of the space station.

"will this be suitable?"

midnight nodded, "yes, and thank you," he looked up and smiled, "we will be ready shortly"
