How powerful is Chrysalis?

How powerful is Chrysalis? Tirek grew to his third form after absorbing her magic, when he had to absorb a lot of ponies' magic to reach that form in Twilight's Kingdom. He even says, "SO. MUCH. POWER!" after absorbing her magic.

Queen Chrysalis says herself: "As queen of the changelings, it is up to me to find food for my subjects. Equestria has more love than any place I've ever encountered. My fellow changelings will be able to devour so much of it that we will gain more power than we have ever dreamed of!"

Her changelings, and her obvious manipulation, along with being able to shapeshift to anypony (or creature?) gives her the chance to fool anypony to her heart's desire to do her bidding. Heck, she personifies the wit to a villain, but her arrogance made her unintelligent in her plans of the ponies demise, and ruling Equestria. 

She even cast a spell on Shining Armour that made him completely helpless and oblivious to everything around him. She is pretty powerful with changing form and deception and all, but isn't persistent in devising a plan that'll actually achieve her evil endeavors.

Chrysalis is as powerful as any powerful creature in the cartoon. "LMAO, we don't know, but here is a cool scene for you".

One of the things that bothered me the most in MLP was how poorly it used its 'soft magic' system. Raising the sun, messing with destinies, time and gravity magic feel as easy as lifting an object or as simple as copying whatever magic makes pegasi walk on clouds.
