CastletonSnob 3,074 January 29, 2021 Share January 29, 2021 (edited) Pony Life had an episode where the Mane Six got sick, and several people said that the episode was referencing COVID. I personally don't think the writers were intentionally referencing COVID, and that the episode is just a victim of bad timing. This is based on the assumption that Pony Life, like most cartoons, was written 6 months to a year in advance. I can, however, see how people could get that idea. One scene even has Twilight wearing a mask, and another has the rest of the Mane Six telling Rainbow to, "Go home and rest". Do you think the writers were referencing COVID in the episode? Unless the time and animation to do those episodes(there was two, one with RD getting sick, and one with the other girls getting sick) was reaaaaaally short and low budget, it's more likely the result of perfect timing, just like that Discord episode with the Bob Ross/BttF references releasing during a Bob Ross marathon and anniversary of BttF
