Scorpan's possible personality

If Scorpan were to finally appear in the comics (adult form, not child), what do ya think his personality would be like?

I was actually thinkin' bout lately, and even though the obvious choice would to make him a wise serious elder - I see him more as somewhere between Discord and Celestia in terms of personality. Snarky and obnoxious like Discord, yet empathetic and kind like Celestia.

He had a thousand years to think about his loss of Tirek - I know deep down he would feel regretful, but hides it with a smile and learning to accept it, even though I'm sure he wishes for a better way. 

So how do you think he'd be if he were to actually appear?

I had this idea that he tries to always find a better way to deal with problems in his kingdom because he still regrets what happened to Tirek and feels like he could've saved him. He may even harbor some resentment to ponykind for what happened. I imagine he'd especially hate Discord for setting up his brother and landing him a worse position during Season 9.
