Would Equestria having Japanese made rolling stock for their commuter or rapid transit lines make sense or would it be European stock or a mix of both?

So in my MLP AU, I HC that trains in Equestria are made in Japan and keep a large percentage of their original features, so they have that sweet signature air break release and have motors that sound like trains back in Japan rather than Japanese made motors that sound quirky or abnormally quiet. So what do you say to this?

I think this is a cool idea! Since Equestria isn't actually located in our world, you can model its transportation systems after whatever you want.

In a Star Wars game, Corellia has a rail train system.  That would also work here

Equestria would have a mix of both. The locomotives would be like the ones made for Amtrak and the passenger trains would be like that of what you'd see in England or Japan.
