Yeah! It was! We unlocked some characters in Smash, I played as mostly Sonic and Ridley and my mom got confused along the way, but she had the spirit to play.

She doesn't play lots of video games for the past two weeks we've been teaching her to play Mariokart and Smash.

She definitely has a lot more will to play then my mom who plays maybe three times a year, Mariokart, and is really bad at it. Also, FELLOW SONIC MAIN!!!!!
