How do you decide?

When you finish a story, but have so many more on your list, how do you decide which story to write next?

Go where your heart takes you! I like to do this thing where I'll do eeny meeny miny moe and I'll tell myself whichever one I get I'll go with. 

It shows me I already knew which one I wanted deep down, because by the time I finished and get the one I didn't really want I feel disappointed.

  At that point it's as simple as going with my gut.

I'm no voice of authority on the matter I'm so inexperienced I'd not even call myself a novice when it comes to writing but a few projects I've toyed with I usually get interested in them and have ideas for them in waves, so I'll jot down what comes to me in separate documents, if any story starts looking well blocked out after enough jotting down I'll focus on fleshing that out.
