How canon are the G5 comics to G4?

Would you consider the G5 comics canon?

I know there was debates about the G4 comics being canon but don’t think it’s the same for the G5 comics?

The G5 comics canonical to G4? Maybe to some extent, but not entirely. I'm pretty sure that the G5 Equestria should be very far away from the ruins of Canterlot or Ponyville, especially now that we can look at Gillian Berrow's G5 show bible.

Do you think “The Storm of Zephyr Hights” is canon?

To G4? That's hard to say. We've only seen one issue so far. But I tend to think of all of G5 as an alternate universe at this point. Maybe two alternate universes since some of the comics don't really fit into the show(s) well.
