critique wanted Some older art of an OC I made

I made all this a while ago. This includes my first attempt at animation, as well as first serious attempt at drawing ponies. I tend to be oddly "perfectionist" with things that don't need to be, like sketches. And tend to erase and redraw things a LOT.

So while these may look very good for first attempts, it's more like first 50 or 60 on the same image. (though the OC standing up on her back hooves is a more successful attempt at letting go and letting something be just a concept sketch, if I remember my headspace correctly.

What I'd like is some criticism on my old stuff to help me when I start up drawing again after a long period of not doing much of anything. What are the better parts? What needs the most work?

And even just opinion stuff on what kind of styles you like that you think I could shift in the direction of. I'm starting from almost no style at the moment, so this would be the time to convince me on something like that. (I won't try for a style just because it's popular, but if people like something and I also like something, it's a good thing to try for before ultimately settling into what's comfortable and becomes a style.

(I know this animation is too stiff in anything but the legs. I knew that at creation, but I was mostly just studying how legs move at the time.)

I remembering redrawing so many times to make a face that didn't look uncanny.

This was the most "experimental" of any of my drawings, and I was never satisfied with it. And yes, that is a DBZ style pose. (She canonically fell on her face just after this.)

I was actually kinda proud of my take on pony armor. I can see various ways I'd tweak things now, but I still like the general vibe and detailings.

Colorized and cleaned up a bit.

(Final clarification - this is an OC, not my OC. I, uh, never could make one because my brain insisted it had to represent me perfectly and I was just self-aware enough to know I didn't know myself well enough to make one truly represent me. This is the main character in a fanfiction I finished the first mini-book adventure of, then fumbled when it came to follow up on the rest of the series.)

The finished version looks good for the most part. There are still few small lines outside of the intended line art.

Oh yeah, definitely. If I remember right, I barely understood the concept of layers at all, and crucially, I was literally editing my sketch to make the "line art", not actually making it as a separate thing.
