MLP Kandi Singles: The Other Generations

I’ve decided that I’ll also include other generations of MLP as well. I’ve made Kandi bracelets for those characters as well. I’ll also tell you my thoughts on each generations (besides g4).

g5 Kandi:

I actually like g5 of MLP. I really enjoyed the movie, but it did had some flaws in my opinion. The movie gets a 6.5/10 from me. My favourite g5 character is Izzy Moonbow because she’s so cute and I love her design. Btw, I made these during summer and I didn’t see the movie until October, so I wasn’t aware of the other characters.

g3 Kandi:

This generation, though some people don’t like it, holds a special place in my heart. G3 of MLP was actually the first generation that I was introduced to. Me and my older sister would watch the dvds when we were both very young. The dvds I remember enjoying were Minty Christmas, StarSong's dancing shoes, the ladybug one and the one with the breezies. My favourite g5 characters are StarSong and Minty. My sister’s favourite were Minty and Toola-Roola.

g2 Kandi: 

I know this is considered "The Forgotten Generation" of MLP because they weren’t popular, but I still included them anyways. The g2 ponies looked so cute, it was disappointing that they never had a tv show. I get it, they weren’t popular in North America, but they were popular in Europe, so why couldn’t they make a tv show in Europe? The only animated media we got from g2 was the video game for the computer. Lightheart is my favourite character from g2 because her design is so cute. Pretty much all the ponies from g2 had cute designs.

g1 Kandi: 

Okay this one was hard, because there were a lot of characters that I could’ve included, but I only putted in 4 because I was running out of time at the time. The only thing I’ve seen from g1 of MLP was the movie from 1986. I saw it on DVD many times when I was younger. I still have it, though it doesn’t work as it used to. I enjoyed the movie and I want to see the show. Baby Lickety-Split, Spike and Meghan are my favourite characters from g1 of MLP. Also Meghan is such a sweetheart. She’s always kind to the ponies.

 

Well that’s all for the MLP Kandi. I’ve haven’t made anymore, so this is the end of the series, for now.

I wish, but there aren’t much MLP conventions in my area since I live in the finger lakes region of NY. If I lived in NYC or some other popular area in NY, then maybe I’d consider selling my Kandi.

Should totally make more! For MLP G1 stuff, I'd reccommend watching Rescue at Midnight Castle to get some insight

The only thing I've seen from g1 was the 1986 movie. Are the g1 show episodes available on YouTube?

EDIT: Yes, the full episode of Rescue at Midnight Castle is available, other episodes can be found in a playlist by Pinkie's Pony Zone!

Of course I was gonna include the older generations. They were the ones that started it.

Not everyone does. Which is why I found it cool that you did. Especially G2, which I hardly see even get talked about these days.

I wanted to include g2 since it’s the forgotten generation of MLP. They have cute designs, it’s disappointing that they never had a cartoon.
