Gave it a watch and tried my hand and added a little dash of yellow and pink to make it pony. 

I don't think its terrible for a first attempt  I better practice more though!

Indeed good attempt, honestly I've been drawing clouds on "auto mode" ultimately, I could try making something more "focused" to see how it looks like, though I won't use that tutorial because I don't like using tutorials 

By the way, what's that thing? Spike? A random dragon or something else flying? Your signature?  ~☆

And now that I bought some Colour pencils today I got excited and took em for a spin 

I’ve been mucking around well inside my comfort zone lately but hopefully soon I’ll start with some meaningful practice that will very much benefit from critique.

I got a late start at work today and tried to draw RD before leaving the house 

I’ve been given a tip to try and colour using a circular motion to combat the sketchiness. Will have to see how that goes tonight.

i LOVE her expression!!!! she looks determined and also a bit angwy! some neigh-sayer is probably annoying her, and she's got half a mind to teach them a lesson >:3c

It's awesome! A few tips on the hair though, I'd suggest doing it shorter, like this pic:

Unless you were going for a Fluttershy pose, which, maybe because of the hair over the eye.

@Dah Onion Eater  right you are!

Her hair is usually a bit shorter indeed but this time around I wanted to try something a bit more stylized  Rainbow Dash always dressed in style after all

It's a cute manestyle, reminds of me of Rainbow Splash, that one alicorn OC that was famous for having rainbow hair.

That circular motion technique really did work quite well but boy did it take a while.

Plus an outline to really bring it all together, I’m a lot happier with this drawing now.

omg just now seeing this!!!! :3 you really cleaned it up ^~^ im glad you kept her mane and expression, it added a lot of personality to her, and honestly looking at it now you also did a nice job on that wing perspective!!! wings seem to be pretty hard to get right sometimes but I really like how it folds out and up like that uwu

The only thing I could suggest is to add parts of her cutiemark. i see that it would be obstructed by her wing but i think parts of it might poke out along the sides of it ^~^

I tell you I was being nothing but lazy 

Poor RD only has 3 legs!

 

In other news, now that NATG is on I will be trying to do all of the official EQD prompts!

Here are days 1 and 3, I buggered up Derpy’s mane and the outline on Rarity but alas these coloured pencils cannot be erased  I have to be more careful going forward!

omg :3 omg omg. 

i love derpy in that pot. that's super cute, esp with that trowel >w< rarity's got a pretty sassy trot going on, too. im not much of an artist, but any time i tried to make a pony walking it always came out suuuper scuffed. idk if that's a personal skill issue or not, but i like how you did it here uwu

Well I ran out of steam after only 2 NATG prompts but at least I’ve been doing a little bit of drawing in the mean time 

 

@ThePinkestofPones suggested drawing Fleur De Lis, I’m very happy with the outcome though I felt I bit off more than I could chew while making it and procrastinated a lot, I think it is best that I focus on simpler and more numerous pieces for the time being.

 

I was also inspired to scribble these last night and this morning.

Clip Studio paint, the free version lets you do 1 second of animation only but that's enough for now.
I tried to use Krita first but I just couldn't figure it out

Ooh! You did really good for your first animation, even if it's one second. I personally use Flipaclip. You can animate as long as you want on there. ^u^
