In the alternate timeline, we were only shown Rarity and Rainbow Dash. What do you think Fluttershy, Applejack and Pinkie Pie are doing in this universe?

Fluttershy's doing her best to keep the daytime animals comfortable. The nocturnal pet trade is certainly up though.

Nightmare Moon didn't have eternal night set to death mode, so I'm assuming plants are growing fine for the most part. The apple family farm should still be up and running, although maybe AJ was honest with her opinions and it was shut down. I could see her making a return to Dodge Junction sorting cherries in that instance.

Given the strictness of decor that Rarity must deal with, I don't think Pinkie Pie is hosting any parties that aren't in honor of Nightmare Moon, and they're real downers. Worst case scenario, she's in a dungeon for violating a curfew or attempting to operate some form of speak easy, or she's gone back to the rock farm where they're busy fulfilling quarry orders to meet the demands for NMM statues for the center of every town.

We see that regular Luna tends to be more introverted and less inclined to socialize, so Nightmare Moon might be even more so. Parties would probably be a lot more like ceremonies and may be a lot more quiet and toned down. That doesn't sound too bad to me, but for most party ponies it'd be boring.
