Keep, open, sell? Friendship Festival 12-pack

So, I bought this pack on a whim when Toys R Us was closing a few years ago. I see it's now worth around 3x what I paid for it, so I'm debating selling it. But I really like how sparkly the mane 6 are, and I'm too cheap to buy Muffins on her own, after already having one anyway. I don't need the money rn, but I have a habit of holding onto things that I could sell, just in case I do need the money, because of how I grew up.

I actually don't have any Mane 6 3" brushables besides these as my G4 collection is pretty small compared to my G1 collection. I just wish they were the original G4 brushable shape, not the 4.5 or whatever people call the movie era toys. 

Buuuut the tinsel and glitter really appeals to me, too! My favorite pony design ever is a G3 pony with tinsel in her hair, Waterfire, and I love the texture of glitter in my blindbags.

 

What would you do?

I say hold onto it as is for the time being. Both opening and selling may prove difficult to reverse if you go down those paths but keeping it until you have a better idea what to do is a safe option.

If you're into collecting and really like the designs, I'd say keep it. If you aren't in need of money, it makes the most sense to just hold onto it. If you're in need of money later on you can always sell it then, but I understand the feeling of stressing over money or having the tendency to keep things you don't need. In this case, it's something that does hold actual value and that you're passionate about though, so you should be fine.
