Moving on to the actual question: probably not. The inability to speak or see (I assume) will leave her mostly reliant on others for assistance, not to mention the trauma of having her facial features removed.

I was under the assumption that she had some way to breathe, but you do make a good point. Oxygen is actually rather important to staying alive.
