What was your favourite thing to get from your schools tuck shop/vending machine?

Probably Freddo Bars in the vending machine back when I was at college as they were only 10 pence at the time and I found it amusing that that I could buy something for 10p, especially when you could often find discarded change lying round the place too, never really understood why people threw money away.

Going down the memory lane,

At middle school, I remember how all the other kids go and buy ice cream. They all got cash with them. Me being one of the few that doesn’t, I would just sit back, watch em enjoying their ice cream, and lowkey envied them. Until one day, I happened to found a $1 and finally bought one! It’s the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted. It probably weren’t the best as we all grown up now, but to me back then… it tasted like gold.

Mint Milk is a thing!? GIMME!!!

I was in the 5th grade when Barrack Hussein Obama was elected President, and I held a grudge against First Lady Michelle for some time because I blamed her kick for healthier practices in schools for being the reason we couldn't have strawberry milk anymore. In all likelihood it was just budget cuts, 2008 after all. Nonetheless, vending machines hadn't been around in my school district, nor would they ever be introduced. :ButtercupLaugh:

Now we did have a vending machine at my third place of employment, which was maintenance within the parks department! I went for the Reese's Fast Break Bars on days where I couldn't pack a lunch, because they had the most calories for my dollar.
