Name a former possession of yours you still haven't gotten over?

My Gamecube collection. I sold it because at the time I was jobless and low on cash. If I had known some games would become so valuable in the future I would have kept it. I even had some of the more valuable games like Skies of Arcadia, MGS: Twin Snakes, Fire Emblem, Eternal Darkness, the Pokemon games, etc.

Also had a Virtual Boy I had gotten at a garage sale for $1. I'm more upset with that one because my mom donated it. That also skyrocketed in price

My first Nintendo 64 controller that I got after my family moved out of my early childhood home. I found a grey controller at a thrift store back in 2012, and when I heard that there were GameCube styled analog stick replacements for the Nintendo 64 controller, my 12-year old self interpreted that as "you could install a GameCube controller's analog stick in a Nintendo 64 controller", so I took the analog stick apart to try to transplant the one from a cheap Gamestop GameCube controller, and when I realized that it wasn't as simple as I thought it would be, I tried to put the old analog stick back together and failed miserably at it. I gave it to my dad to fix, but he left it at his office at work and never had time to work on it, so it likely got tossed out. I did make it up by buying two controllers (albeit in blue and red instead of grey) after the fact, but I still feel bad about wrecking the one I found first. I never even got to use it because I didn't get a Nintendo 64 console until after I broke that controller. :raritydespair:

Another childhood possession that broke was the matching DVD player for my Mickey Mouse CRT TV. It stopped working in 2011 (likely due to a power supply failure) and I never managed to find a replacement for it. I still have the TV though.

Hmmm, very good question...

My (our brother's) Wii, gamecube games and controllers set. We spent years building up those games from the early 2000s to the late 2010s. So many accomplishments, unlocked content, and experiences. Won't say how we lost all that, but, I can't believe how on Earth somebody would do something like that to possessions that aren't even theirs, let alone electronics...
