So, when I'm not gushing over ponies or beating down other people's fanart on here, I like to throw my money out of the window for tabletop miniatures, specifically Warhammer 40000.One of the factions i own, the Necrons, includes a unit called C'tan, which are essentially space vampires, that can shapeshift into any form. So there was really just one way to go.

Leave none alive, but save some of their books.

Unfortunately, using a model significantly smaller than the normal miniature can give one a somewhat unfair atvantage (in terms of hiding behind stuff ect.)

So the only logical way was to break out the wire, toothpicks and Greenstuff (higher class putty) and go nuts:

Mane and head are pretty much finished, legs, body and tail still need work and smoothing.Also, I made an alicorn, which is gonna be either Luna or Cadence, haven't quite decided yet (vote for your choice).

Now, Twilight has racked up quite a bodycount by now (400 points of flimsy Tau in one game alone), but in light of recent events, I have been forced to make certain changes

These will get coloured, once made her circlet and theose little hoof thingies. And don't worry, Cadence body will be put to good use. Mihahahahaha!


Currently also working on a custom Spitfire.
My awesome niece graciously donated me the Wonderbolt that comes with Gilda and Dash in the one set thingie.
Unfortunately its the white one (Fleetfoot?), so I'll have to return to the brush.
I'll document this one a bit, so you can make your own.
I'll be using Game Colour colours (but any acrylic will do on a decent prime).

1. Remove moldlines/glue to something to hold it on

The figure is now my OC, Itachi Darknesshoof (don't steal).

3. Foundation colours (Heavy Blue for the suit, Heavy Brown for everything else)

4. Paint (Skyblue for the suit and gggfles, dark grey for goggle frames, Sun Yellow for the skin, Gold Yellow and Blazing Orange for the mane, 50/50 mix of Sun Yellow and Skull White for gogglestraps and suit detail)

The colours do look better in daylight, I'll try to take some more pics tomorrow.
